Nice idea to tackle the theme. I liked the art style and animations. Enemies coming from below was a nice surprise and a cool difference from other games of this style!

thank you!

I started off thinking it was too easy, then dudes starting coming from below and it ramped up the difficulty a lot. Could definitely use sound effects and music. The controls page definitely helped me.

Took a little bit of getting used to the gimmick, but once I got the hang of it, it was fun charging shots and getting close to large groups of enemies to clear out as many as I could in once charged shot. It probably also got me killed a lot because I kept getting too close the enemies, but we don't have to talk about that.

I do wish there were sound effects though. Also, I would definitely recommend adding some instructions or something in game, in the comments, or in a notepad document so that you don't have to trial and error keys to figure out the controls.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, this was my first time doing a solo gamejam so it's been a learning experience! The sound was something I really wished I had gotten in there, but I just had such limited time this last week. Thanks for checking it out!

Added a small (ugly) controls page real quick based on this comment! Appreciate the feedback, once again!
