Tho kinda sad that the timer limited you how far you can get

It’s never been so satisfying to take over Mom’s role—what a great game!

I liked the idea for the game but the janky of the game kinda ruined the experience of the game play for me

Thanks for your feedback

Pretty enjoyable game! Loved the animation and approach to the style of the game! Adding an option to change the sensitivity would be great for a game like this, but overall quite a fun game!

I really enjoyed the flipper mechanic. It is satisfying if it bounces perfectly back towards you!

The flipflop was really a great serious idea

Loved the sandal and the way it bounces off of people 🤣 Loved this! Keep making games!

I love the vibes of this. A few issues right off the bat - The camera is definitely janky. It either lags behind or it seems to very violently jerk itself up or down if you turn your character and turning to the side tends to be kind of sluggish? The flip-flop throwing aspect is really funny, I feel like my Mexican grandma, but I feel like the visual que to see where it lands needs to be bigger in some way. The wheel spinning aspect was nice, but it felt out of place. Maybe you can change the environment so that it makes more sense, like a casino perhaps? Regardless, it's very neat!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! About the camera, maybe I should have included some options to change the camera settings

Wow my favorite game so far. Entered an alternate dimension for 10 minutes there. Great stuff. Would love to work together for future jam if interested.

for a jam game this was great i had a lot of fun , maybe u can add ammo or health pickups when an enemy dies

Developer(+1)

Yeah, when your are developing and testing your game, you notice that you can change or add more stuff. Unfortunately we don't have much time to do that. Thanks for playing it!

The whole concept is so absurd it makes it fun, I love the flipflop & the masks. And the big roulette too!

This is a great concept and I like how the game progresses. It is really satisfying to through the flipflop around and I could play the whole game doing just that. I was sad when I threw it out the window for science and I could not retrieve it.

Developer

Yeah man, that's a bug that I need to fix

this was super fun, i love the gameplay and gunplay and the vibe was very serious, although i did not like spinning part as much, i enjoyed myself with this one nicely done

p.s. the shotgun felt really good, as all fps games shotguns should

The presence of the flip flop as an off-hand weapon is certainly a choice, and I would love to know where that originated. And the people with animal masks: why? The roulette wheel to generate stat changes was unexpected, and felt out of place in an abandoned office building, but a neat way to make a guy think he has any control over his fate. I did notice that the green ball landed on 33 but the green stat changed 32%, but that's programming for you. I also wondered what "enemy count +1%" would even do, if anything? Add 0.05 enemies?
Do the stats stack over time, or is each spin unique to each wave? I seemed to always have 16 bullets shooting 4 or 5 enemies. Not my kind of game, to be honest, but it was very impressive.

I'm a developer from Brazil, and here, the flip-flop called "chinelo" is a legendary cultural meme, it's the ultimate homing projectile weapon used by angry mothers. As for the masks, to be honest, I didn't think too much about the theme of the game. I used some pre-made assets and originally had a nightclub pack from Synty Studios, but I ended up removing most of the environment assets because I was worried about performance. Regarding the stats, I always try to increase each one by at least 1, but the roulette wheel was a bit buggy. I didn't have enough time to sync the ball position with the code, which is why sometimes you see the ball land on one number, but the system selects another

Very creative! I did not quite understand the flip flop, but the roulette wheel to determine both buffs and enemy buffs was very cool

Are you trying to run on chrome or other browser? If you are using chrome, try to enable hardware accelerator. If it does not work, try to disable any chrome extension

Very artistic.

You can however clip through the wall and throw your flipflop, resulting in a softlock

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to fix that
