I always wondered what the Penguins of Madagascar are doing right now but now, I think I know. Really fun despite simple gameplay! Wish I can actually enter my name instead of the generated name. The QTE might be a hit and miss but I think it's ok for now.
It really does remind me of learn to fly... Quite fun, got top 23 after trying a whole bunch! Imma try again a bit more but yea, very fun :)

The penguins are adorable and the game is really fun. Also, good job for adding a leaderboard, at least for me, the leaderboard made me play the game for longer, because I did not wanna quit before top 10. Managed to get rank 9 (at the time of leaving this comment). Great little game! :D

Fun nostalgic entry! Cohesive and cute <3 Wish I could launch the penguins myself, as I wanted to start swinging right away but then it got messed up when auto-launch came. Wish we were gliding and sliding a bit when landing. Awesome of you to have make leaderboard for it, you penguins are freaks I didn't even crack top 30.
Thanks for the awesome feedback! Sliding upon landing sounds amazing and totally fits the penguin vibe. I actually considered manual launch, but left it out since getting the forward timing right was too brutal.

I enjoyed this, reminded me of flash games from back in the day. To offer some feedback, I felt like the penguin was in the air too long, I wanted to get back to swinging!
Thanks for the great feedback! You're totally right. I prioritized the feeling of overtaking other records, but having to just watch for that long is definitely an issue. I'll look into adjusting the pacing after the jam!
This was a fun game! I liked how the penguins could acts as boosts themselves! And the audio and visuals complement the gameplay well! Just out of curiosity, what did you use for the leaderboard?

If you mean the backend architecture, I built it myself using Cloud Functions + Firestore. It communicates with Godot via HTTP requests. Thanks for the awesome comment!

Ahh yes, this game was great, reminded me of many mini games i used to play in happy wheels. Tried to get close to the 4000 score, but could just muster landing some where in the middle of 1800. Anyways great game!
