I think this is almost a great submission. It looks and sounds great, and the concept is fun. However, the keyboard and mouse are mapped out in a way which makes the control scheme feel at odds with itself, and the enemies soak up damage in a way which can slow progression to a crawl.
The game looks good, has a neat concept, and the sound effects are very crunchy. The right click command is also fun to use. However, ammo needs to be shown on the HUD to indicate when I can reload, and enemies seem to cling to the player.
wait are these turtle pirates with black shell and skull on it?
It feels unfair to judge a game that seems to be in still in development. One thing that will help the visuals of the game is having all of the pixel art assets at a uniform scale.
Thank you for the reply and feedback, the game has been updated to be actually functional if you would like to try that out!
Seems like it's still WIP, but from what i've seen, the art is great.
Thank you, the artists for this game were amazing, the game is in a more polished state if you'd like to try the new game.
Thanks for the heads up!
It was a bit unintuitive where i can actually go through, i got stuck with the enemies sometimes. Not the most creative idea for spinning, maybe it could've given me some advantage. The enmies are quite overpowered, or i have skill issue lol
Maybe the pew sound effects were a bit too loud, but the music was not bad
I would've liked a bit bigger arenas
The atmosphere of the game is great, i don't really like the spinning now, it feels like a constraint, and not something i would do to win
