i didnt understand nothing but the theme is nice
Good job!
Ok, have reviewed this game. I found well as a game, it was ok. Walking simulator to find stuff mostly.
For a 5 day game, I would say it is not bad.
My issues are mainly with the inconsistency of the art and lighting.
We have a 3D gear cover page that looks very good, but on the other hand, when we go into the rooms, the bookcases and these items look cartoony instead.
Then the lighting itself also feels weird. The office room is super glaring.
Very cute and easy game! Would've loved something that highlighted the theme more (e.g. a minigame where you need to physically spin the key).
I found the graphics enjoyable, also the whiteboards are funny!
A shame my thermos got cold, and I probably lost my lunchbox too, but what wouldn't I do for a cookie.
Had a short but sweet time playing this! Would have loved to see the theme of "spin-to-win" used more. Visuals and music were good. Movement controls felt nice as well.
Bah, I don't get paid enough for this...
Very fun, I'm actually a fan of leaving items somewhere to return to them later, and needing them to enter specific rooms. You almost got me leaving the key card to enter the lab when picking up the oil can, but I remembered! I just wish that kind of idea was used more, but I won't hold that against you since, yknow, game jam, these are really just proofs of concept.
The style of the game was something I also enjoyed, and giving the player starting items is both a clever way to teach the player that picking up an item drops another, and a cheeky way to save on time when developing an inventory system (I've made many of my own, don't think I wouldn't catch that)!
I'm a big fan of creative usages of back tracking in game design, so I quite enjoyed this! Though, the implementation of the game jam them I think could be more emphasized.
Game is alrighty, love the retro 3d visuals in this one.
Good game but the music kinda is annoying after a bit
