quite fun! The balancing might need a bit of work but I really like the roulette aspect.
Has Good bones for a game.
Pros:
1. Combat stacking felt good!
2. Interesting use of roulette wheel for actions
3. Got the hang of game controls super quickly
Cons:
1. UI tough to read easily. Especially text
2. More player feedback. Couldn't tell when player took damage
3. Forgot Spell abilities. Wish it reminded their ability when highlighting over their name
I love the slay the spire-esc combat with the wheel included!
I got a little overwhelmed by the amount of available spells and I missed some BG music. Other than that it's pretty cool. I vibe with the visuals, specially the rat king!
I love the idea of a roulette wheel to determine what move you make! Such a clever twist on turn based combat!
Very interesting concepts! With a bit more love to the UI and Juice-Departments i`d love to spend more time to get that nice build to win BIG :D
There's so much depth in this concept, I really like the wheel mechanic and I really can see how this would be fleshed out into the kind of game you could spend hours upon hours with.
Some of the basics were kind of unclear though, like enemy attacks. And due to the depth there were a lot of features I just wound up ignoring because I forgot what they did (like the spells)
This is a really good entry!
Really good mechanics to decide your attack! I didn't notice or maybe it doesn't happen, but I can't tell if the enemy does any attack back or not, you're just doing many attacks with no real turns.
Good concept, pretty fun pretty creative. I made it to the orb part and the curse on the wheel cooked me. It would be nice to have tooltips for what the balls and spells do (my memory is bad).
Very cute and slick, I also had a bit of issue with reading the text, or remembering what the spells do. If you could hover over it to read the tool tip it might have helped. Overall good game :)
Had loads of fun with this, nice job! Thought I was doing so well, kicking some butt with my little strategy... then I got to the final boss and got 5 balls on the cursed zones on my re-roll. Insta-death. LOL. 10/10, would get rekt again.
LMAO all the "balancing" was in the last 30 mins of development. I'm so sorry that boss is NOT FAIR!! TYSM for the kind words :D
This idea is very interesting. I think it has great potential!
The character sprites looked great, The Roulette wheel looks great.
Biggest problem was the legibility of the UI.
It was a little straining for the eyes to make out what the text was saying.
I wish there was healthbar on my character too.
Attack, Defend, Chips should all be their own easy to read UI elements with like an icon or something.
There wasn't proper feedback when you got hit. I think that would be quite easy to do with just a flash on the player sprite and a damage number popup on top.
I also don't like that you pick 3 from 9. It's just too much of a wall of text and I think pick from 3 is in every game for a reason. It's too many options and things to consider for a new player and it makes it less replayable for experienced players since they can figure out a consistent strategy to always win with so many options.
Was a fun experience!
TY for the feedback and playing :D
UI is definitely not my strong suit hehe I completely agree with all your points!!
I love the pigeon! It's so well made.
The mechanics of this game are so nice. The roulette wheel made this genre of game feel a lot more fun. Personally I'm not a huge fan of turn based games like this but you did a good job of hooking me in!
Well Done
TYSM for playing :3 Glad you enjoyed despite it not normally being your cup of tea!!
I really liked the concept!!! OwO The pigeon looks so serious... (。ŏ﹏ŏ)
Really nice job! It honestly feels like something that would've been super hard to make in just a week, congratulations!! >:3
I'd say I was missing a bit more feedback when I got attacked. It took me a while to realize the "Incoming Attack" text was showing up under the enemy. I think it'd be really cool if both characters took a bit more time to play out some little attack animations >:D Congrats again on making this!
