I like the art and color choices as well as the character design. The intro sets the scene well and the story is interesting. I found it quite hard without any healing at the beginning so I didn't get very far into the game. Could have had more spinning. But I like the vibe.

I love the DA !
Maybe have the level showed faster or not having the ennemy to be able to shoot you if their not showed, because i've die one time because of that (he shoot me before i was able to see him)
Really good music :D
Nice gungeonlike :) physics in the level design was quite a sillious jumpscare to my expectations, i enjoyed it! didnt manage to finish the game cuz time and skill issue, but for a jam game tis quite solid
This game is so hard o.O Maybe I just suck though. The background effect is so cool, I really wonder how you made it. I also really like all of the rainbow colours everything has. This game just has such a unique art style! The only problem I have with this game is it's.... let's just say... lack of rotation....
But still, very fun :D
1. I simply had a repeating texture, that would take in a player position, screen position, and then layer that texture with different sizes and speeds, like harmonics. If you would like more information feel free to msg me.
2. Yes there are a few places where rotation is included, but it is minimal, and if you dont get too far, you might miss it.
Very Tough! Couldn't go very far though I tried a lot but that may just be a skill issue. I like the overall vibe and environment and the changing colors. Would describe it in one word as "trippy"
Not bad, not bad. The gun play is pretty enjoyable and I like the variety of weapons available. Some visual oddities here and there but overall pretty cohesive. Audio is nice too. Good Job!
Pretty sick game! It kinda reminds me of Soul Knight and Enter the Gungeon. Pretty simple mechanics and also I like the variety of satisfying weapons I can choose from on some of parts of the levels. The visuals are great but the audio could've been added more especially when the enemy died or when the bullet hits an enemy to add that extra player feedback. I would say its kinda serious as well. Overall, great work!
I like this game!! Not gonna lie, I'm pretty terrible at it, but the fact that I want to get better at it is a tribute to what you've done here. The backing track is pretty great, I absolutely love the bright pops of color in this monochrome world, and all in all, it's a pretty serious game. That said, I do wish there were ways to recover my health; maybe I didn't get far enough to discover them, but that also speaks a bit to the learning curve. And ultimately, I do wish the spinning theme had been incorporated a bit more into the gameplay. Having the spinning generators makes a lot of sense, but seeing as how I only managed to get to a generator room once (skill issue, I know), it's possible that some people playing the game might not ever see the spin mechanic at play (which is unfortunate, since it was pretty cool imo). That said, I'm looking forward to revisiting it later so that I can see more of it! Good work!!
Play by play! First impressions are decent! Love the little I want to kill start thing.
- Submit button somehow is vertical? I called myself timmy because little timmy is going to kill some Sh*t
- Settings: The sliders start at the bottom but sound is not off. Idk how that managed, but shuffling them around fixes it. Thank you for adding sound settings. That's an immediate +1 star on audio.
- Juicy transition and UI. Love it.
- OOoh reminds me of BOI immediately. Ok lets do this. Locking in.
- THE TRACK IS BANGER. I AM BOPPING.
- Maybe have auto reload if you don't shoot for a bit. Loved the combat in the first room though. Very smooth.
- Dash feels a bit long on first instinct but I may get used to it. Maybe it could deal damage if you dah through someone?
- NICE COMBO
- Enemy bullets kind of merge with your own in colour. Kind of makes it feel a bit hard to read at time (I am also just bad)
- YOU CAN PET THE CAT. GAME OF THE YEAR
- Shame the giant spinny crosses don't do much except spin. I also don't know what they are meant to be. Enemies also seem to bug out around them. Big enemies just ignore them.
- Ok I died! I want to play more games so I might come back to this. But the first run felt fun. Many ways you could add even more to the game. Like leveling and such? Cool little thing. Not sure how this is spin to win though.
Fun game!
Hitting the enemies feels satisfying, and I love the ever changing colors, great feeling overall!
Cool game! :D
Enjoyment: 3/5
The main idea is pretty fun, my main issues were that the web build tends to be pretty laggy, even when not in fullscreen, but more importantly the fact that enemies can attack you even while room generation is still happening, which can feel a bit unfair at times.
Creativity and Theme: 3/5
The creativity is there, but I feel like spinning should be implemented a bit more onto the core of the game's mechanics. Still not bad though!
Visuals: 3/5
The visuals are alright, although there is some weird strecthing behaviors happening with some sprites, at least in the web version of the game. The entirely monochrome setting in contrast with the rainbow colors also feels a bit awkward with how it was executed, although I can see the vision. I just feel like the colors are a bit too "eyestrain-y", perhaps you should also put up an eyestrain warning next time for people who are sensible to that stuff.
Audio: 4/5
The audio is alright but could use some improvement in track variety and improved sound design, but it's solid nonetheless.
Seriousness: 4/5
The business in here is pretty serious.
FINAL RATING: 3.5/5
The game definetly has a strong base. I just feel like it could use some more polish, but it's good nonetheless! :D
I think I hit a bug the first time I played, I only had 1 generator and ran out of doors to go through, not sure if it stopped generating or an enemy was outside the map or something, but I enjoyed the gameplay enough to try it again and it worked properly then.
Fun aesthetic, and the art worked well. The guns/shooting felt good but maybe a little too easy to scale up - I'm not sure what I was spending in the shop but apparently I had a lot of it. Music and sfx were decent with the exception of some crackling/peaking at times. I wish the big spinny things did damage or knocked enemies around, I think that would've helped with fitting the theme better.
Enjoyed the game overall and would like to see it developed further, however there is one major major issue in that you can't pet the shop cat, would pay for cat petting DLC.
Feels like Gungeon + Hotline Miami + big ass spinners. (I have played neither of those games) Visual style wasn't quite my thing, but I still adore fully committing to your vibe. Only nitpick is that its too easy to grab multiple items from the shop, though that was never a detriment.
This is a really polished game with amazing visuals, audio, and coherence to the theme. I didn't even notice that it was procedurally generating rooms at first because of how well it fit in. One thing I would add, if I had to suggest something, would be to make it more clear when the player loses health and when they die, but this is still a really great game and probably the best I've seen so far!
Pretty cool, i like the art and the idea is nice! Also the room spawning animation is quite cool too icl. Theres alotta random polish which i respect alot too, and theres quite a bit of content too, alongside the game being quite well balanced for the timespan you had. (Also is everything RGB pro gamer or gay)
