This game is really tricky and I couldn't quite get to grips with how to get past the first enemies lol. I really love the art style tho it feels like I'm in a factory in a far off baron, desolate Alien wasteland.
Fair enough. I oughtta prepare a more interactive tutorial if I ever do more with this idea.
You hold right click and crank to load your gun, then let go of it to fire at wherever the mouse is. The aim tracks your mouse while you're not cranking anything.
I don't consider myself too much of an artist, so I'm especially glad you liked my artstyle!
I found this game to be quite difficult, probably just a skill issue on my part tbh. Although, a nice way to make this game easier and more enjoyable would be checkpoints because I found it very unsatisfying when I was taking time to play it safe for like 5 minutes all to die instantly to a pit of fire. But other than that it was quite enjoyable, the concept is creative and fun and very strategic with it's combat system. Very well done.
Quite a serious little game here!! Being an important little military ball saving the planet and all that crap (CRRAAP). I could not complete it because I think the spinning just does not compute well in my head (Skill issue) but I must say I loved charging up my ammo and then just flying in to a crowd mowing them down... That might be morbid. It's for the greater good though.
I like the control scheme, very different and pretty fun! Not having any checkpoints makes it pretty punishing but I don't necessarily think that's strictly a bad thing. Sadly I gave up after getting pretty far but then glitching into the ceiling after a particularly high jump. Definitely enjoyable overall :)

The game is too difficult for me) But it's actually creative and I love this game's visual style:)
Thanks
Hilarious game. I love rolling and shooting. It would be cool to not have to do all that reading and put the story in an animation or something.
Thanks, I concur with your recommendation of delivering the story through other means than a briefing, and something like a radio call/dialogue system as you moved through the facility was what I was hoping to adopt earlier in the jam back when I had more time. Alas, I had to put time into doing all sorts of other things for the game, and here we are.
The controls were really creative, moving and shooting felt very satisfying to figure out. However, I wish more of the information was communicated in game rather than in the itch page. It took me a while to understand what you were supposed to do.
Thanks for the feedback. I had wanted to implement a dialogue/radio call system as you move through the facility, but I didn't have the time to pull it off
I dont really know how to play it am i to dumb or what iam ab to cry XD
Left click and crank to move around, right click and crank clockwise to load the gun, let go to aim and fire it, and hold space and crank to charge the piston.
If you encounter a puzzle element, you can hold E to interface with it.
Try rolling around, fighting enemies, and picking up the powerups!
-this game has insane movement potential!
-the physics-based platforming is a huge plus for me!
-the controls are simple, yet effective (my arm is sore from cranking that SERRIAS CRRAAP).
-navigating the level while fighting the enemies was balanced nicely, though i never felt i was in much danger overall (he was destroyed!)
-i like the parts where the power-ups were in my way and i was forced to become the strongest spring ever.
overall, the level was fun, the movement was great, and the mechanics were easy to understand and use! 8/10
