Art is amazing! The gameplay can get a lil' repetitive after awhile but it's also well made so it kinda cancels out and is still fun to play.  Overall a nice entry -w-

This game is weirdly addicting. I have completed it, nut was sad to see that there is no ending, but I think there is a great future for these game. I'll play it again when you complete making the whole version. All and all it's a very good game, I love it.

Loved the art-style and the music, even if the game-play feels arbitrary and a bit repetitive

WOW guys, this is really cool! The art is on another level, the music and SFX is just amazing (and using the voice for the character was a good choice), the gameplay loop (and the upgrades) is really, really good, and I just love that you guys named your wheel, "Wheel of fortune" (I did the same, hehe). The theme implementation is on point, the only way to win this game is to literally spin the wheel of fortune.
I died around enemy 8 (spent all my upgrades on attack points hehe), I have to go now, but I'll return later home and try to finish the game!
Honestly, I'm impressed,  this one's special and I'm glad I found it here. GG's and keep makin' em.

Cool game! I think it would be great to offer a way to influence where the wheel lands to the players - that would give the players more agency and control about what happens. I love the graphics etc. though!

Nice entry, though it can feel more like a simulation than an actual fight at times. Maybe if the enemies weren't on a wheel, or they had a different, simpler wheel, it would be more engaging/interesting. Either that or a way for you to influence the outcome, since right now the player is just clicking a button and watching their lives go down. It'd be really interesting to see this game with some kind of E33-esque parry/dodge system that still keeps the elements of turn-based that you want. That aside, the art is good (though the mixels aren't great), and the narrative is interesting. Great job getting voice clips in there too!

The pixel art—characters, backgrounds, and animations—was all high-quality; you can really feel the level of care and detail put into them. I think the game flows at a great pace if you spin and stop the roulette quickly. It was a remarkably well-crafted game, especially considering it was made in just one week!

beautiful art (both music and especially visual). The story aspect is intriguing, but the fighting mechanic did lose me a little bit. To me it seems pretty similar to an autobatler which is not necessarily the game for me. Maybe add some quick time events to buff the wheel? It does look great though and was impressed by the voice acting, good job!

I respect the game to have so many layers of mechanics, i think  it has a lot of potential. I do feel somehow the roulette type of gameplay feels a bit lacking on agency, also the combat takes i feel, too much time and it ends up being tiring.

Again, i do think it has potential, i'm sure some balancing and juicing it up must do wonders if you ever consider making it a full game:D

Wow this was impressive. The art is incredible, the audio design is fantastic, and the wheel spin is one of the cleanest implementations I've seen so far!

Well done!

incredible visual, a really made well game in a span of 1 week. nice gameplay loop, i enjoyed it

Rated your game, I really liked the spritework and animation, genuinely all extremely well-done with some pretty good voice acting. The gameplay loop also Is pretty satisfying for a turn-based rpg.

Really cool concept!

However after 5 - 6 battles, it started to get pretty repetetive! but a nice game overall!

Very enjoyable! Definitely hits the theme for sure. The visuals look nice but they are not coherent! Why is the wheel illustrated but the rest pixel art. That doesn't work! Maybe the background and characters are premade assets? But the most important thing is that it's fun, so good job!

The art is reallly impressive! Especially the enemy / character designs! I found myself continuing till  the end of the demo hoping there was 1 more cool design in the end (I was expecting the goddess to show up)

I think alot of downtime could be reduced if both wheels spun at the same time, either way really awesome stuff!

This game looks great! I like the combat system but I wish I had more control of my attacks rather than it just being fully random. The art is really good, that plus the potential story made me very invested and would love to see it as a complete game!

This is the best of all turn-based spin-a-wheel battlers on this jam I believe. Fantastic animations and hit feedback. Had a lot of fun playing. I wonder how many followed in your footsteps with the idea once you started posting it on discord in progress channel. Not much of a constructive critique there except for maybe coming out with some other unique mechanics slapped on top of the base spinning wheel, but that's more of a post-jam update I think. Well done!

Thank you so much.. I really appreciate it. Many had the similar idea but different execution I guess :)

Your game idea is super similar to the one i made😀 While yours focuses on combat, mine is a parkour platformer. I absolutely love your art style (5/5), the history, and the epic fights. The pacing and intensity remind me a lot of Slay the Spire. Keep up the good work😁

I liked that the wheel had a lot of variety, and that there are clearly a lot of options for the wheel to land on. However, there is definitely the potential to give the player more agency to influence the decisions of the character, like messing with the probabilities of the wheel or being able to use certain abilities independent of the roulette. The mechanic of the game, while simple, definitely has a lot of potential.

Thank you so much for playing and I appreciate the valuable feedback. Cheers <3
