i looove the style and colors of this one! so instantly charming.
had so much fun with this one and was genuinely surprised by the second stage
This game was incredible !!! The art is so cute (i'll definitely check the artist socials) and the gameplay has a nice learning curve (I first got absolutely destroyed by that dog but then I got my revenge !!) Great job and thank you for the experience !
Cute and fun game, lovely visuals
Very charming game! The art and story reminds me a lot of the old "Burrito Bison" game in a more bubbly color palette which I really like. The sound design was also pretty good, and everything flowed with each other really smoothly. All the things I would normally criticize have already been commented on by others so I won't delve into that.
The attacks are well telegraphed, and the whole environment really looks like it had a lot of care put into it. Well done!
Love the art style, the fight, the sounds, everything, other than that it doesnt seem to incorporate spin to win.
super cute and fun! sadly did't hit the theme very well tho.
Super cute style! Feels very cohesive with music, art and gameplay. My only critique would be that the first stage gets monotonous after a while. Attacks were well indicated and it was easy to understand what you're supposed to do.
Oh my gosh, this was so fun!! The gameplay is simple but enjoyable (especially the second phase), the anticipation in animation indicates well what move the enemy is about to do. The art is absolutely phenomenal and filled with charisma, great job!!
I was pleasantly surprised by the graphics and mechanics of this game! The gameplay here is easily the most fun and intuitively understandable, which is the ultimate indicator of a good time. It’s simple in the best way possible, and it’s just honestly super fun to play. The graphics get a bit too blurry in some places, but overall it looks really cool. This game definitely deserves very high ratings! 🎮✨🔥
Overall, this is a highly polished game, especially in terms of its music, art, and gameplay.
I do have one minor suggestion: during the first phase of the boss fight, consider introducing more interactive events. For example, successfully dodging twice in a row or landing two consecutive hits could reward the player with a skill or an item. This buff could help players navigate the second phase more easily, giving them extra breathing room to observe and learn the boss's attack patterns. This would also prevent players from zoning out if they get stuck in the first phase for too long.
Thanks for playing! I think this is a very good suggestion, thank you for bringing it out.
Holy cute! Absolute cinematic fight! On my way to get choco milk bottle, I've turned into a kungfu master. OMG! I love it so, so, so much. Great job! Guys <3<3
i think the visuals for the game looks really great and it was really enjoyable because of it!!! however, the visual cues for dodging was a little confusing and i didnt really see how the theme of spinning was really used other than the way the player character moves i was really hoping for a moveset that actually utilised the character spinning rather than them just doing upercuts. overall, pretty solid submission!!!
Thanks for playing! Yeah, the original intention was a spinning uppercut, but time was tight, so I had to take a shortcut with it. But hey, I hope the spinning kick finisher at least came across a bit more clearly.
thats alright i get it, for what its worth in the 7 days you had, the end product was really nicely polished great work!
Really like the game! I actually enjoyed the second phase. Tho the introduction of moveset in second phase is kinda abrupt that I was confused with the inputs for a moment. After 3 tries, I managed to beat it. Good visuals and music too~ But I noticed no spinning mechanics?
Thanks for playing! Maybe the spin is in the movement, like how you dodge, or maybe in the spinning kick? Perhaps I didn’t make it obvious enough. Sadly, time won’t let me add better visual to the spinning animation.
Ah ok, I think I see it now. Yeah, it wasn't too obvious but it is still a great game.
The game is amazing. The art is very well done and the gameplay is very fun. I have never played PunchOut, so I don't know how it compares, but this version is very fun as it is.
The only problem I see is that I don't think it relates to spinning. Apart from that everything is great.
Thanks for playing! The spin is mostly in the fighting techniques, like the spinning kick. If I had more time, I probably would’ve added something like a tornado effect to make the spin more convincing.
Feels really nice to play, the enemy coming back after the Mortal Combat SloMo kill was a really fun surprise!
Visuals and sound fit the game very well, congrats!
Very sweet art and music. The game feels very nice.
very fun!
Very sweet visuals, and manageable difficulty after an attempt or two. I really love that there's a phase two.
Although I kind of wonder, why does that big old dog really need the chocolate milk? Just for himself? Or is he an agent and it was vital to his mission? Or is he a father/uncle/grandpa and the egotistical rabbit just punched a family man over trying to make a child happy today? How serious is this situation really?
Who knows, maybe the big guy simply wanted to pick on the little one because he could. It’s up to the player’s interpretation, but one thing is certain: the little one stood up, and now there’s going to be a fight.
Thanks for playing!
Soo much fun with this! I felt like I was playing punch out on the NES again! This game has a lot of good game juice and feels satisfying to play. Great sound design too.
