Ditto the comments about difficulty but I did manage to get the 50 score required for the meta jam. It felt like a genuine challenge which was very enjoyable. The cars were definitely more dangerous than the drones but after learning the map I found a few narrow alleyways where you could get the cars stuck. Also, finding areas with lots of beers helped to reach the finish line. Overall very fun but I think you could have gone harder with the drink driving mechanic such as make it harder to drive in a straight line rather than making you drive faster.
i keep getting comments about having the drunkenness play a role but imo it would just be more annoying rather than fun, thanks for the feedback tho! :)
Obligatory joke: Driving in my car right after a beer
The game does feel a bit unfair sometimes. If you're in a tunnel and a police car charges straight at you, there's nothing you can really do. Also, I do wish there was some kind of HP system, as it feels very unforgiving when a police car just barely touches you and it ends your run instantly.
But then again, I'm also bad at the game. I wasn't good enough at the game to get the metacog (my high score as 37 which I'm pretty sure I got from dumb luck), but I'm sure at least some people were.
Pretty fun game, the cars are a bit aggressive so maybe they could slow down but other than that pretty good :)

Oh I'm sorry, I thought this was America! Graphics reminded me of old school GTA. Difficulty was pretty tough, the cops here aren't messing around. Maybe they should have a beer and chill out a little.

DO NOT CONSUME WHILE DRIVING!!! Overall fun game and interesting mechanic,. I didn't get used to the controls, but it's very originally made!
This is great! I love how some areas have a lot more beer than others, so the more you get to know the map, the better you get. My reaction time isn't quite good enough to dodge a police car coming straight at me though.

Interesting concept, though I didn't make much progress since I kept losing so early. But I can tell a lot of people (with more skill than me) are really enjoying the playstyle, and the art all works together really well! Even though it was too hard for me, you did a great job!
Fun game and actually very challenging because the pursuit vehicles are very aggressive!
Someone noted that the camera should be brought out just a bit, and I really agree it would help a little knowing your surroundings.
There were also a few places you could drive between buildings only to find it was a dead end!
Thanks for the feedback! :) I'm guessing the dead end is the one with rows of buildings up in the top right corner, or the maze? I have tried zooming the camera out, i should probably do that again but i want to avoid the pixel size difference of the steering wheel and the rest of the game to be not that noticeable...
actually so god omfg, had to keep playing until i got the gear for the metagame (and if anyone's also is doing the metagame and hasn't gotten mine yet go check it out wink wink)
This game is too good, definitely the best in the jam I've played so far
maybe you could make it so you can see a bit more of your surroundings so there's more time to react to the police cars coming on screen but I guess not being able to plan ahead makes sense if we're drunk

This game is great! I love how fast it goes from just dodging one cop to like the entire military and nuke sirens are going off, this was awesome.

Drinking and driving is VERY serious. This games concept is pretty simple but really fun!
Really fun and really polished experience. I LOVE the sound effects and the controls feel so good to play after having experienced the playtest version. I think a mini-map that opens up as you explore the area would feel amazing (but obviously tough to implement within the constraints of a jam). Great submission :)
