The level design is so cool! I'm quite envious of your skill. The music does get a little repetitive after a while, but I was so focused on the screen that I only noticed during Level 4

Neat! I like the smooth animations on the main character. All the spinning level elements were cool, kinda tricky, but not completely unfair. Visuals are a little bare though and I’m not the biggest fan of the repetitive BGM. Spinny level platforming is serious enough for me. Nice Job!
Interesting little platformer! It's a simple idea, but a good one, and honestly a pretty nice take on the theme.
I wasn't a fan of the spinning laser(?) levels, which sort of dropped you in with no warning at all that you were basically on a timer. Didn't matter too much since you dropped right back in though, especially for a jam game. Just something to consider if you intend to expand on this concept at all.
Speaking of, I actually think this could be really cool if expanded. Having every level utilize the spinning mechanic in a different way could be a lot of fun to play with. My personal favorite from a design perspective was the first level into the second level. The fact that the goal now spun actually caught me off guard, but felt like a really natural progression and introduction to the game. Overall, I dig it! Well done!
That's a good point about the spinning laser levels. I can definitely see how dropping players straight into a timed challenge without any warning can feel unfair (that was something I hoped would surprise players in a fun way). I'll keep that in mind if I continue working on the game. I really appreciate you taking the time to play and share your thoughts!
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback!
Fun levels and great animations!
I like when people use basic shapes. Did you use a sprite or a Polygon2D for the rectangles?
Also, i agree with the person below, can't get the music out of my head
Classic well made plateformer game. The music might get stuck in my head for few hours now ^^. Too too ty too too too too ty too too
Great game! The death animation is so very gruesome, which makes this game very serious.
Nice short and sweet game! The movement felt good and I especially liked how you could clip onto the top of a platform even if you didn't jump all the way up. That's always a nice quality of life feature I like in platformers. One piece of feedback non-gameplay related is the camera is zoomed out a little much in my opinion, made it hard to read the text especially.
A very nice and simple 2d platformer game. The character looks very nice, and the simplistic style is refreshing. I would have liked if the player wasn't so small, but that's not a big deal. Cool game, keep up the good work! (:
Fun game, the character movement feels great, i would have liked a bit more levels but i understand it's hard to do in a week :>
I really enjoyed the feel of the character! Their movement and jumping felt great to control!
