i really wish there was an indicator for when i can attack, i kept spamming space out of panic only to not attack lol
theres some really good parts to this, the visuals are so nice, the concept is clean, with some more polish this could have been really great
Good idea, indeed, some more polishing would be nice and worth it - this could evolve into something bigger :)
The idea is nice and the game is quite fun for what it is. I just think it lacks some polish, collision is a bit wonky and the controls don’t feel that smooth.
I love that your dodge is just rolling the sprite xD
I think you guys did a great job for a first game. Keep on creating!
well, the game had a good idea, but the implementation was not polished.
here are some of the bugs and unpolished things I noticed
1. the music doesnt loop, it stops after it finishes
2. if you fullscreen the ui stays in the same spot, so its just kinda in the middle of the space between the edge of the window and the character
3. the movement around props is very glicthy
4. the dash can bug through walls
5. you attack in a circle around you, not in one direction like your attack indication shows
6. this is kinda not the game's fault, kinda the web export, but I have close window on ctrl + w, which is spin in up direction, but there could be a way to change control binds
7. sometimes one enemy can absolutely plummet you? I got damaged by one enemy like 10 times in a second, but I cant re-create this
these are all easy to fix, there are some more smaller ones, but they are so small they are not worth pointing out.
for the first game, this is nice
its fun, but the unpolished things really downgrade this
That was a fun little game! I liked how you handled movement and attacking, even if it was a little simple. It was a little hard to figure out what was happening with the wheel spins, though when I was playing there was some resolution issues so it might've just been that. Great job!
Cute idea, it was a little bit hard to figure out the hit box so I got stuck on the map a little bit but managed to get around!
