i think this game has a lot of potential, i like tower defense so ill try to give this a fair and honest rating. i liked the somewhat simplistic but still nice looking visuals. i liked the sound effects and i think most of the towers serve a good purpose.

i will try not to be too harsh in criticism since you did make this in a rush but i will still point out some issues i found.

the bullets on the towers should try to lead on the enemy, it doesn't seem they do properly and that hurts the gameplay experience some because the towers often fail to hit the enemy.

some music would've been nice but i understand if you didn't have time.

in a game like this where enemies are coming from *all directions* the enemy should be visible to the player equally in all direction y'know what i mean? it's a bit harmful to the player if they can't see the enemy coming in time from above but they can see it coming from the side.

i liked your ideas for the towers but i think blade could've used more range.

overall a pretty solid game with some nice potential for growth! i think it's a good start that could be expanded on greatly :)

It's pretty simple, but it's enjoyable and impressive for your first game jam. The one issue I saw is that you could just buy unlimited of everything, so making some caps or constraints could help the game.

very fun core mechanic,   I can see this in a  bigger game with scaling and adding more rings and such.  :)

I lost the comment I wrote, in short:

Another tower defense, nice! I liked watching the towers just doing their thing.

Audio and visuals are minimal, I really like the earth and background!

I played on browser(chrome) and the view + hud was very much off.

I am missing some more control of the player, could not figure out how to move the cyan marker to place the tower on certain spots, maybe you should wait for the placement though. Also could not switch to the inner ring.

This is really good for a game made in a rush. I liked it, and I don’t even like tower defence games.

Nice game, I like the visuals of the earth! I would definetly cut down on the beginning spending so it makes things more challenging. Good job on your first game jam be proud of yourself!

Its a fun tower defense game, different from others I've seen. The art is really good. Some more sound effects and music would be nice. I think you can improve it with more game juice by adding, I dont know, some screen shake when Earth gets hit or something. Also, if you buy many defenses too quick they can get pilled up in the same place. For a work in progress game is really good. Nice entry!

The visuals is really cool as I love its animation. Same with the other comment, I think I could buy unlimited weapons which makes the game really easy as there's no tradeoff or losing condition. There's also no audio unfortunately. Good job for your first game jam!

The earth looks pretty cool and the cosmic background looks dope. I think explaining the controls could have been better if not in the game then maybe in the game's description, it always helps. Other than that I felt I could buy unlimited of anything there wasn't really a limit. Loved the atmosphere effect on the earth btw looks cool. All in all good work if this is your first game jam!
