The spin is definitely all in the wrist! I had a great time maxing out all the stats except for the first one, it got to be too much for me to max after lvl like 33+, but I was really satisfied scoring more than 112k in a single throw! The visuals and sounds are simple but they work very well. The ambience is perfect. I wish skipping stones in real life was as fun as this! Awesome job!

this is one of my personal favourite games from the jam that i've played so far !! the theme is subtly integrated in a great way, the spinning to skip the stone not only works for the theme, is super satisfying to nail, and mimics the practice required to skip stones in real life, but it also solves a problem very common with incremental games where they can quickly feel mindless and just repeatedly buying upgrades. this simple mechanic had me trying to perfect my technique with each throw, and i bet i would have loved this game even without the upgrades, but the stone duplication made it all even more satisfying haha. Everything felt super polished, from the graphics, the relaxing sound design, and even the way the camera moves around to follow the stones. i think my single complaint about the game would have been the applause after each throw, which felt unnecessary to me, but it can be disabled in the settings, so no harm no foul! excellent work, i loved this one !!!

This was a very unique game!  Definitely my favorite so far.  Getting a perfect throw is also insanely satisfying.  Good job!!

Love how satisfying it is and the black and white esthetic! Really nice!

My favourite incremental game of the jam so far, probably because it never turned into an idler. I dig the stylized aesthetics. I wish I was as good as rock skipping IRL as I am an the game, but alas, I have not yet mastered the secret technique of rock duplication :(

A really original idea that fits a game jam setting perfectly. The visuals are minimalist yet remarkably well crafted, the sound design is spot on and relaxing, and the progression curve feels well balanced. Nice work!

This game is pretty fun! usually not an incremental type of guy but this plays really smoothly and has notably really good and tranquil audio design, at least until you get to the point where it starts lagging. Simple but effective visuals, cool upgrades, satisfying systems to watch, a pretty fun time.

It’s really addicting, I love the sounds there a lot. It starts to lag at some point tho (not surprising XD).

Really fun watching the stones multiply and using the secret technique. Great job all around, I think this game is well made!

sound is 10/10. gameplay is also really cool! Good job

Sound design is killer here! I could skip stones all day. I think there is beauty in simplicity and the graphics demonstrate that really well. Nicely done!

I really liked the mechanic! It was super addicting seeing the stones multiply and the sounds that came that, I played for a long time and maxed out everything besides power, but I want to come back and try to max it out at some point lol!

I had a lot of fun playing this! It was super satisfying seeing all the stones split up and bounce off into the distance on a perfect throw. One thing I really appreciate here is the sound design. I think you picked the absolute perfect stone skipping sound, I could listen to it all day and I think it adds a lot to the feel of the game! Would love to see this expanded with more upgrades. Really nice work :)

5's all around. Perfect game

excellent! really cool twist on the numbers go up games. I maxxed everything except power which got up to 32. I really liked the secret throw techquie and would've been cool to add more elements like it :)

Did not expect this game to be so addictive. Good gameplay loop and incremental stuff implemented. Love the ALMOST 1bit style choice as well! Great submission to the jam for sure.

I was completely forgot about spinning, until I saw the technique demonstration, I didn't expect a tip on mid-game, that was nice. I felt like I was too quick max out all upgrades, and the stone mitosis look very satisfying.

Developer

Thanks for playing, yeah I kinda regret not adding more upgrades, but at the end when the stones multiply too much the money is not really a problem, and I didn't know how to spice things up, and thought to leave it at that.

absolutely terrific little idle game

Hi, I'm very happy you liked it, thank you so much for giving it a try!

When it zoomed out and the water was all black and the stones were like baby jellyfish swimming in the deep abyss of the ocean I felt like I was witnessing the miracle of life being born

Then it zoomed out further and the stones were stars collapsing in on themselves and the weight of the universe was suddenly tangible and I felt like I was witnessing death itself

Great game. Existential crisis is only a stone's throw away
