awesome horror game. I love the atmosphere. I just had issues with the UI on my screen since its a 21:9 monitor. But its a very polished game otherwise
I dont know if I am playing it right. At some point I turned on youtube and spent 1h just to get max one successful call per attempt. Was a bit frustrating. That aside numbers sometimes wouldnt dial in. Idk if it was intended. sometimes a number wouldnt dial in for 3 attempts in a row and would almost make me rage quit, which it did eventually xd major skill issue from me.
The game felt more complete tho. Felt like the idea was realized as planned. I just couldnt figure it out.
Did you play in this sequence: spin the wheel, read first journal (the one near wheel) and get the curse description from it, then read the second journal and match the description and the number and dial that number in the phone?
The numbers would sometimes, very rarely not get dialed in(it is a collider issue), you would need to make it so the number is directly under the dialer. I will be fixing that when the jam ends
Great atmosphere, im so bad at playing horror games lol so I was scared basically the whole time! Very awesome take on the theme
The feeling that it moves whenever you're not looking at it is really scary, and I think the idea fits the theme really well, especially since it's a horror game! The atmosphere is also really good D:
This game was incredibly scary((((;゚Д゚)))) The sound was so realistic, and I loved how the other figure appears dimly through the office window. A supreme horror game!!
Love the aesthetic, and is a really neat mechanic. Some of the curses were a little confusing to figure out what they did but I got the hang of it pretty quick and it was really fun!
It’s such a great game, i think it has a really good, original concept, and I also really like the visuals and animations. i'd love to see more of it if you continue working on it
I think the way the curses are tied to the phone numbers took a short bit to wrap my head around but once I figured it out it was a nice little puzzle / management game. I liked that the numbers were different each time so you can't just memorise it all though I did end up getting a few back to back which helped me win on my second run. Nicely done.
Looove the visuals. There def is a sense of dread with the approaching mannequin. I also got a bit confused about the curse system but once you understand it, it's a really cool idea!
Nice horror game you got going! Like other comments said, I got a bit confused on the curses but I was able to understand it the more I played through it. Good job!
Incredible game for such a short timespan to make it. I really can't do horror, but I know its well done when it really spooks me. Good looks!
Pretty cool game, surprisingly I think it might have one if the best concept in this jam, Keep it up!
That was extremely solid! totally could be a full game!
Very captivating, good atmosphere but not too scary or anything. The implementation of the rotary phone is very clever too! I don't often play download games but I am very glad that I did for this one! This is very impressive work, def one of my favs from the jam so far!
was a bit hard for me to understand it at first but then i got the hang of it and was able to do it
nice game , jumpscare really a bit better than i expected for smth made in a small period
I think looking at the doll while it's retreating makes it stop going backwards but im not sure
took me a bit of trial and error then I escaped, really cool stuff
Honorable mention : the jumpscare kinda for some reason reminds me of those from fnaf hw2
Hey! I said I'd play this game, and I am a man of my word, so I downloaded it (I usually play only browser),
- The vibes are immaculate, first of all.
- I love that you have multiple spinning elements in the wheel and the phone. Very good.
- Very creepy! This jumpscared me when playing in the office.
- The visuals sometimes could do with a bit of polish but for a jam game this is more than impressive. ESP if you are solo.
- The sound is good! More than you could expect
The concept is unique and I enjoyed it a lot! It took me a few tries to figure out which curse is what description, but once I did the game got much easier.
