Super addictive. It's insane a game can be this fun with only one button as controls. Visuals and sfx are gorgeous. Loved the concept of monsters and sins as shopkeepers. Monsters' abilities were creative and made a lot of sense. I seriously can't say a bad thing about it other than that it was a bit serious.
Loved the art for the ui. Very Persona like, wich is one of the bests. The enemies design was very good, and the soundtrack very fitting. A simple gameplay loop and controls that was still hard to master. Really fun and fitting of the theme experience!
Really cool take on the theme. Hope to see the game published for sale!
i want to give you money
Incredibly play. I have no criticisms
Easily my favorite game jam game. So simple yet provides so much depth.
Favorite game of the jam so far! I love the persona esc art style it's gorgeous! Super simple mechanic and game loop but extremely addicting incredible execution! Congrats!
Absolutely incredible, every single thing about this game is perfect and I cant give any criticism lol. The art and music and programming are all 10/10
Loved the art style and the mechanic was well designed and elaborated upon in creative ways, I had fun.
yo damn this game is really well made, with very good and unique art with that paper clips style (idk if that's the correct naming XD), the music was pretty good and the gameplay was very nice too, now i'd say that the love mechanic felt a lil useless, like i found myself destroying the enemies quickly while love took alot of time to do its effect, plus sometimes i get alot of money but the shop goes out of stock while i still have leftover money, which gets me a lil disappointed lol, like you should reroll to get even more stuff to buy maybe? other than that it was really polished experience with plenty of replayablity!
This is an extremely well made game. Only a single mechanic with input and doing so much with it in such a short amount of time. Also the visuals an sound/music is fantastic.
WOW this was absolutely awesome the mechanics are super clever, I especially like the shop also being a spinner. The art is excellent and the game has an incredible style to it. What a fantastic job!
Super cool art style, music direction, and gameplay loop, an absolute gem of a game!
Holy Cow, My favorite game so far from all the submissions. Really well done!!
I love your interpretation of the theme! The sound design is really cool and the visuals work really nice!
Very unique design! Creepy and fun! Well done!
Very creative use of the theme! The unsettling art, the thumping music, and the rhythm of the hits come together to form a mesmerizing trance I hadn't expected.
Three nitpitcks:
1. Once, I closed the ship before buying anything because my lizard brain had been conditioned to hit the first white block (i.e. the 'leave shop' block).
2. The purple guy (final boss?) was too much of a difficulty spike for me.
3. Pausing the indicator when you miss screws up the rhythm for the other blocks, causing you to miss more and get stuck in a spiral. Maybe that's intentional.
Really good game; love the art, the colors, and the consistency between the menus and the gameplay.
Audio and visuals (motion/animation) could be more in synch,
add character expressions,
OnMiss mositon feels little off --> like game lag -> maybe check sth. of this:
A. character do some animation to change dynamic (feeling) completely,
Add motion to circle zoom, scale down based on bit (detect that by audio output or even check full signal DFT/FFT analyse)
Add little motion to menu (scale, offset, rotation)
Add around circle -> graph based of DFT
PS: UI looks is 6/5 - I am surprised
It's a spinning riot of a game! No notes. Well done to the team it's the an absolute blast.
