Loved the implementation of the theme! The artstyle and effects fit very well!! Very nice level design but it could've been less punishing lol. Overall, great idea and execution!!

The pixel art and sound effects go perfectly well together! This has a really cool spin mechanic and it feels really polished when executed. However, coming from someone that has completed similar games like Celeste, this is an extremely challenging platformer with how tight the safe spaces are. I think the the starting level designs could've been far less punishing while players are still getting used to the spin mechanic as well as the spin boost. I got stuck on the second level for quite some time before I finally realized how to get around it. I think when obtaining the spin boost, it should not be obtainable only after you complete a rotation while on it. There were a couple frustrating moments when I touched the spin boost upon jumping but it doesn't get collected unless you rotate on it. I think I would've preferred if the spin boost was just collected upon collision before or after rotating and it adding to a max allotted counter of spins. From there, a visual indicator like the player glowing, could mean that you can still rotate again while you're in the air. I did not continue shortly after the bouncy platforms were introduced. This was a very cool idea though and I can see how much work was put into it, great submission!

This was such a good platforming experience. Unfortunately at one point during a respawn, the game starts to break when the spikes wouldn't damage me sometimes but also the rotational blocks starts to bug out, making the game impossible to beat. Regardless, this was very good game and I love the audio and visuals. Good work!

thank you! also yeah im assuming thats just some jank with the lag from the web version

The visuals look amazing and the audio works so well with them! Even though I struggled to get through much of the game, I love the puzzle aspect of the levels. Great job!

pretty ambiance, the mixe with ur audio and ur visual is pretty matching for this classic vibe, test my game if u've time too

Very beautiful artwork and soundtrack. The jumping puzzle are very clever but I do think they ramp up a little too quickly. I enjoyed the heck out of it but couldn't beat it sadly. Great game, keep making them!

I love this song! The sounds all around were really nice and the visuals were good too.  Gameplay is good but a little too difficult for me personally, I got to level 3 but I can't figure out how to progress. I see the arrows pointing back but idk what to do with that because when I go back nothing really seems to happen.

Very neat idea. I got stuck in the room where you teach the spin boost, no idea how to use it to get anywhere, until then it was pretty fun. I kinda like the classical music, but it does feel a bit out of place with how intense the game play is, I feel like there might be a better fit? Anyway, quite enjoyed my time with this one, well done!

Amazing, had really great fun playing <33 Loved the mechanics, visuals and audio was really fitting. I think it could only use some checkpoints midlevel

This game is amazing, reminds me of Celeste in the best way possible. The art is stunning and the interpretation of the theme is really creative with interesting level design, just all around an amazing game!

11/10 Best game of the jam I have played so far and it will probably stay that way.

I love that mechanic and I have always dreamed of making a game about it sadly i did not think of it for the jam.

The ballerina and clockwork art direction to go with it is such a masterpiece.

The level design is immaculate too I trully canno't find any fault on you project well done !!!

Amazing work! This was really fun. I loooove the visuals and theming. It's pretty tough but super engaging. Would love to see an expanded version of this with a smoother difficulty curve that builds on the solid foundations laid out here. Loved it <3

Really well crafted game, love the sound design for it. It ties the whole package together very nicely. The mechanics are intricate and interesting too!

Without a doubt my fav game I've played so far, it just oozes with character and while it DOES expect a lot from you, it has really intricate level design to back up those requests elegantly. My main critiques are that I think it would be cool if the ramp up difficulty wise was a bit more gradual, and that I found the camera following the player so exactly to be a little nauseating sometimes. The audio was SO good too oh my god the gear clicking makes my bones feel good

Developer(+1)

thanks zucchini from Vanilla Contest! the camera's like that because of the nature of the game; the camera needed to perfectly follow and center itself with the player to have the rotating look smooth. i tried limiting the camera to the bounds of rooms before, but it doesnt work well. im glad you enjoyed the game!

Ohhh i feared it might be something like that for the camera LOL makes sense

Amazing theming. Very unforgiving sometimes. I wish the levels gave a little more breathing room. Really fun, i enjoyed!

thank you! we worked hard on this one

Really loved your game!!! I can see some Celeste inspiration in how the levels are short and challenging and in the fun movement tech, and I think your execution was perfect ^_^ That last level took me many attempts to beat, but it was fun and never got frustrating. Good job!!!

thank you! im not even kidding i deadass decompiled celeste to see how the spikes work
