Yo cool game, I never wished to roleplay as a politician but it was lowk good
Liked the artstyle ( especially for mr spin itself), I got the fire ending and it was lowk cool
feedback from me is to change the dialogue sound as it gets like irritating a lil bit but other than that it's fine
Good job on the game!
I wasn't a fan of the dialogue sound either, but I didn't really have time to change it. I'm glad you had fun with it, and thank you!
Peak.
I have been immortalized as a marketable office quote poster. It is downhill from here.
This was a pretty fun game with a neat mechanic - well put together for seven days! As others said the ending was a lil rushed feeling, and with polish, but otherwise it's fire. The core mechanic and puzzles give me slight Professor-Layton vibes, though being all focused around wordplay is a really cool mechanic. Making this in seven days was a really impressive feat.
Nice work, dude.
i finished the ending at the last possible moment, its my #1 regret that i couldnt have more time to work on it. i hope you enjoyed, and thanks for the opportunity for a cool gag!
Wait you actually cooked with this one. I loveee your theme interpretation and there were sooo much puns in the game! I love the premise and I think the game just needs a bit more polish to be more awesome, but it was a really enjoyable experience. The use of the letter replacement was so clever as well, it must've been challenging to come up with the puzzle answers. Overall, great game and I would loveee to see more of this! Great work!
I didn't finish the ending sequence until 30 minutes before the deadline, so I REALLY wish I could have polished it more. I wish I could've had more puns, trust me. Glad you enjoyed it! :)
I love bugs, I love words, and this is the first game where you spin a web of lies (if you want) I've seen in the jam. I have no complaints I just wish it was a lot longer
Thanks so much, looking forward to playing yours! I may or may not be continuing work on this after the jam is over, depends on how my YouTube video on it does when I make it.
that was the BEST use of the theme so far for me, this game mechanic is awesome. I love it
thanks a lot, i appreciate the kind words! 🥹
Great game! I loved the experience. It’s an interesting idea and the pixel art is really well done.
Good job !
Serious and cool game idea but that sound just crashed my ears xD
omg im sorry which one T _ T
actually the master sound. it was really loud. but it's a godot problem that the default value is way too high and you have to set it lower :((
I didn't know that about Godot, thank you for telling me that! I'll keep that in mind for next time! :D
This is a very serious game, what's more serious that politics? I liked the art style, and it's a really cool idea, but I noticed the sound for the dialogue was a bit louder than necessary. Overall a great game!
the dialogue used to be too quiet so i tried "fixing" it... i guess that didn't go well 😭 i hope you enjoyed it :)
omg im so sorry about that bug T_T i tried ironing out all of the "cant press continue" bugs but i guess some slipped through. thanks for the words :)
Interesting concept! The visual style reminded me a bit of the dialogue bubbles in Persona mixed with some Disco Elysium vibes, which I really liked.
One issue I ran into was the screen layout on my monitor. The game didn't fit entirely on the screen. Other than that, nice work!
thanks for the kind words! sorry about the display issue, i'll try to find out how i can fix that for future projects... T _ T
Super fun! I really like the main game mechanic.
