Interesting game, I dig the idea, I think the gun aim can improve. Overall feels that when I point to one direction the bullet goes slightly at a different angle in an unsatisfaying way. Good job regardless.
Nice title! This was an interesting take, but difficult to play. For the amount of starting enemies, I wished the gun rotation was faster. You really had to land all your shots before they get to you sooner than you can rotate again to try shooting that target again. May have been a skill issue for me, but at the very least, an aiming line from the gun would've been very helpful! The point where the bullet currently shoots from the gun seems a bit off currently too. Visuals, music, and SFX were really well done though and fitted that western vibe . Great teamwork!
Pretty fun! Wish I could've gotten some xp before the end of the first level as it was tough.. nicely executed simple mechanic
Hard and difficult to get the hang of but still fun and unique with a great soundtrack!
fun game, quite hard
It's a fun and challenging concept!
In terms of difficulty curve, I managed to learn how to reliably get past the first wave, sometimes at full HP, but couldn't get past the second one. I was thinking that through afterlife upgrades I would eventually have enough fire rate to better deal with the second wave, but over like 10 playthroughs I only managed to get 1 XP? I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended, but perhaps more granular XP (like 1XP per kill) and higher XP costs for the upgrades might help make players feel there's progress regardless of their skill level.
The music and the art are great (especially at setting the setting and mood) and the gun shooting SFX is pretty good. If there was one area of improvement it would be in the enemy death+SFX, they are good enough but I feel they could have a bit more oomph.
The one thing I found confusing was the HP UI being the revolver's barrel; for a long time I though that was your ammo and was confused when it stayed fixed while I shot bullets, and that there was no "bullet reload time" as might be expected of a revolver.
This is overall a pretty great game, there's great teamwork involved in getting everything fitting nicely together!
It's very fun! I would have played for a longer time but it is a bit difficult at the start (maybe that's just me though).
Also, I think exploding the enemies or doing a quicker more satisfying effect would have been better, since I believe the current red flashing and delayed despawn can cause some visual clutter.
Not a bad concept at all, and could play for a long time good work.
Thanks, unfortunately our shop ended up with a bug where the guns dont get updated when you buy it, but when the jam ends it gonna be fixed. Hope you come to see it after the jam
Such a unique concept, I played this game for a while
Ty very much, i dont think is an unique concept tho... lol, but we really put our effort on it and tried to give something that we thought was fun to play. After the jam we gonna fix the bugs on the shop, hope you come to see it on its final state!
