This game is VERY visually stimulating! There are a lot of things going on at the same time, especially later into the game and I love it! However, I feel that later in the game, most noticeable for me around day 30ish, the frame rate started dropping rapidly. It was very apparent in the upgrade tree where the camera would be stuttering constantly. Moreover it was kinda annoying how it always started me completely zoomed out in the tree. I think it would've been better to have to remember my camera position from last time. I was also having a hard time with the burnout mechanic. I understand that spinning is supposed to increase burnout, but sometimes it would continue increasing even when I wasn't spinning and hadn't been for a while. It would even sometimes end the day from burnout despite on screen having several bars left. I also think that it would be nicer to make the screen more red at higher levels than it currently is, because with all the on screen effects and everything happening it makes it really easy to miss. Other than that I think it would've been cool if there were 'office events' or something that happened throughout the days. It could've help make there be more things for the player to worry about, like having to reach certain milestones before a given day. Days in general feel like a wasted system that could've been so much more than just a counter. For the promotion system, I think it makes more sense for it to be all time earned money rather than the money you currently have but thats really not all that important of a difference. The boss fight at the end was a really nice touch that I wasn't expecting and did utilize the mechanics in a strangely fitting way!
The visuals and audio in this game were perfect! I loved the pixel art, and the two short little cutscenes, they added a lot to the seriousness and looked immaculate! The title screen too is just such a great way to start the game and its a really well done title screen, especially for a game jam!
I know I have been pretty critical but still it is absolutely AMAZING what you were able to put together in just one week!
