love the "maze screensaver" aesthetic, and the platforming was good, my only grip is that level 2 should have a checkpoint once you reach the big platform because i didn't knew what to do until i looked up, aside from that, 10/10

The aesthetics (both visuals and music) were so nostalgic to me; kudos for nailing that vibe!  In particular, the artifacts on the music were just perfectly done.  I would have liked some sound effects for movement and jumping, and the lack of anti-aliasing, while period-accurate, did give me a little bit of motion sickness, which may actually be a point in your favor in terms of authenticity since 3-d games of that era used to do that to me, too.

The gameplay was also fun; I liked that you could use the time manipulation not only to avoid waiting for platforms to come back around, but also as movement tech.  Really neat entry.  Great work!

I really liked the aesthetic, unfortunately the similar walls were disorienting at times, and the backtracking to the folder was a bit tedious, but overall I had fun

Neat idea, really made me want to make a game with similar mechanics.

Game is awesome. The watch mechanic not only eliminates the waiting game that normally exists with moving platforms, but also allows for some cool momentum jumps. Visuals are nice, music is  fitting. The only thing that was a bit annoying is that the camera was continuously spinning. Felt forced, especially because spinning the watch already fit the theme. I really enjoyed it, great job!

Sorry for the unintended experience, the camera was not supposed to be spinning. You should have full control over it. In all my testing, I never encountered that!

Fun game! Although there was some lack of sound effects but it's understandable since it's a game jam game!

I love the idea and the fact that its a 3d game, but the graphics are the only redflag for me

Hello! I have played your game to completion and I have some feedback for you!

  • The MSPaint opening and all the filesystem theming is very cute!
  • I enjoyed the music loop! Very chill.
  • It really made me remember the 3D maze screensaver from the 90's, which I used to just stare at as a kid, lol!
  • The textures are nostalgic, yes, but also a little detrimental. At one point in the tutorial I remember thinking that this game was going to make me dizzy because of the brick on brick texture, and there's a point in level 1 where you have two different elevations both textured solid green. It's almost impossible to tell where the edges are there.
  • I didn't really like having to play the level again in reverse to get back to the file folder. This could have been really cool if the level posed different challenges when seen from reverse, but for the most part it was just walking, especially since a lot of the jumps have stairs to retry them so you can more or less not even do the platforming on your return for those areas.
  • I think the jump could maybe use a few leniency frames? Several times I accidentally walked off the edge of a platform because I pressed jump a few frames too late, and that doesn't feel great.
  • While the watch is primarily used for the puzzles, I appreciated having it if I missed my timing window on a jump I didn't have to wait for the full cycle again!
  • It didn't matter too much because the levels were fairly short, but if you continue development on this game maybe add some checkpoints for where you respawn when you die. I know grabbing the file is a checkpoint, but that seems to be the only one. Redoing the whole level if you fail a jump isn't fun! (I wrote this note down after the first jump of level 2 'cuz I got sick of dealing with the little elevator right before the jump, lol)
  • Speaking of it took me a while to figure out the momentum mechanic in level 2. I kept failing that jump off the second moving platform and thinking I just had bad timing. It is a cool mechanic, and I understand it's a puzzle so you're supposed to figure it out, but maybe you could think of something that hints that momentum exists before that jump? Unsure, but it's an observation.
  • The second momentum puzzle in level 2 with the jump was really fun! However, I found it a bit difficult to see the platforms I was supposed to land on because their textures blended in with the textures of the platform that launches you.
    • I also appreciated being able to just drop back to the file folder on this level!
  • Many times when I failed a jump I would hit rewind thinking it would rewind my position so I could immediately try again instead of redoing the whole level. I understand needing a rewind that only affects the platforms for some of the puzzles, maybe adding a third button to the watch for that? Not sure.

I hope this feedback doesn't come off as negative, I'm trying to be constructive! Overall I really liked the game!

Have a wonderful day and good luck in the Jam!

fantastic game, I  tried to speedrun this and its really cool! thanks again for your comment on my game.

Great game! Speeding it up to launch yourself is so fun.

i adore the visual style of this game. the mechanic is perfect i wish i would've thought of this, and the fact that you can use the time control to be faster and speed run the levels is chefs kiss. insanely good game

Timing the launch high into the sky was VERY satisfying. Great concept and execution!

i love the visuals and the concept, the game is just really good overall

Loved the concept of having a watch that lets you "spin" the clock and control time :D

Great game overall! I think the coyote time could be adjusted a bit to be more forgiving. The visuals are nice too, but the solid green color made it a bit hard for me to see the edges of the platforms. (ー_ー゛)

Congrats on the game btw <3 hope my feedback helps to improve it! >:D

Pretty fun concept, albeit the game is pretty difficult. Really like the visuals, reminds me of early Minecraft.

This is a great take on the theme! The watch feels great to use and i love the style. The music is great too.
