Very funny but I'm very bad at it...

This was awesome! Controls took a little getting used to, but once I did, they felt great! Really chaotic and fun game :)

Submitted

It was so difficult to manage, I tried all the time to move the minimum 😅
Also, the colliders of the pickable items could be bigger than the current ones. The combination of the controls and the collider size make too difficult to get something.

I like the animation when jump, and the layouts of the segments are also good

Fun animation! Really quite difficult gameplay but that just made me want to restart and try again and again. I enjoyed it.

Developer

Glad you found enjoyment in the difficulty. It's always hard to find the right place for difficulty balancing as a dev. Thank you for your feedback!

Love the sound effects

Developer

Sound is always so hard to get right! Glad you enjoyed it.

great game and it fits the theme really well i gotta get better tho ill be back to wreck that score lol

Developer

Would love to see someone beat the top score! Thanks for giving the game a try. :)

this felt like one of those mobile games I'd play on my phone for hours in like 2012, in the best way possible. Really got an addictive game loop. Once I got used to the movement a bit (not fully, never fully) it was more enjoyable. One thing I would say is maybe the procedural generation could use a bit more work as sometimes I feel like I would just get an unavoidable obstacle and that didn't feel great.

Developer

Thank you very much for checking out the game and your feedback! I agree, the gen. needs some work to make it feel more fair and balanced. Glad you enjoyed the game more once you got used to the controls. :)

Sick game that really captures the essence of a serious rage enducing game that you can't put down! I love how robert waves his hands when he jumps and the ragdoll physics upon death are very funny, great stuff :D

Developer

Thanks! Glad to hear you got some enjoyment out of our game! :)

I played this for way too long :)
Addicting and nice use of the theme, I also found it dead serious to spin around the office like that collecting coffee and donuts. Cool to have an upgrade system, especially liked the permanent cash. So that  players like me also have a chance. The controls are rage- game-ishly bad but in a good way.

For me it might have been good to get some upgrades earlier. I also wondered what a jump upgrade would make for how the game plays. Or slippery puddles of newly mopped floors?

Great entry for the jam!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks! Good to hear you got entertainment out of our little game. Rage induction certainly was not the intention but glad it was at least in a good way!

We certainly need to add more upgrades and rebalance them. Also, how do we get you on our design team? Those are some great ideas! *takes out notepad* What else you got? :)

Racing with other player is a very nice feature. A good infinite runner game. But I don't know if the reduced gravity upgrade make any different and I can't seem to buy the second reduced gravity upgrade.

Developer

Thanks for checking out our submission! Sorry to hear you had issues with the upgrades. The gravity one is noticeable when you jump, you are more "floaty" so you can jump further.  We wanted to have more powerups spawn for you to get when you jump but ran out of time. For the second gravity upgrade, do you mean you can enough coins but it did not let you buy it? That certainly should not happen and we'll investigate. Thank you for your feedback!

Good Game i really like it!!!

Developer

Thanks!

Great one! It would be better not to see the chunks appearing out of nowhere with some fog, but it might not be available on web export so im not sure. ui could fit the game more but it gets the job done.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you for playing! funny enough i thought i solved that in a clever way, where it's the "darkness" of the hallway your going into that they come out of. Unfortunately, due to the perspective of the camera, it looks like they are spawning, but in reality they were already there just being revealed slowly by a dark plane.  I agree, UI could use an artist so it's not made by a developer. Thanks for the feedback!

fun!

Developer

Thank you!

It was fun and definitely has multiplayer potential. I’d just like the power-ups to appear more often.

Developer

Thank you for checking out our game! Yeah I think you are right, the power-ups are pretty scares. I can't change that until after the jam because it would mess up the other leaderboard submissions' ghost racing data, but i will after. Thank you for the feedback!
