Such an unique concept. I like it a lot.

At first, I was confused of what to do in the game. I notices that my dung grows in size, but it took me while to find out that it only grows on the dark mud near the rocks. Also with the experience from first boss, I kinda expected that bug running on the top of the ball is indicator I am ready to smash into an opponent. But for some reason it was not the case for ladybug boss.

It was oddly satisfying just to run around and building up my dung ball.

From the visual point of view, I liked the savana aesthetics. It also goes pretty well with the music choice.

Nice job!

I was super proud of my little beetle when he jumped on the ball and kept running with so much grace :D Funny idea, well done!

I LOL'd when the beetle stood up on the ball! Hahah, great concept on theme!

Nice work! It's a fun beetle boss fight with some fun spinning.

As some reviewers have noted, it would be more convenient to mark the zones where the dung ball grows in size.

Wasn't quite sure how to battle the boss, I guess jut roll until you have a big ball then slam into him? Made some progress, but never beat him, got tired of going around that circle.  Anyway, great visuals and sound, love the take on spin!

When exactly is the ball getting bigger? I don't really get what I need to do, I'm already moving around a lot.

This was a unique submission for sure! Loved the visuals and animations of the beetle rollin and then running on top when it got too big. Music was very fitting too. Great work!

Creative character, through, the camera was too hard to control, it made it very hard to look at the boss. Also I'm not sure exactly how what made the ball go bigger, it felt really long to get it to max size. I went to ladybug but couldn't go further.

Me when the dung beetle stood on top of his dung:

Thats carzy

Beetles are cool - i think the dung ball could build faster and maybe more complex combat like launching the ball from afar.

Hello, do you happen to have a screenshot of this problem? What actions did you take to get this error, so I can take a look at the problem?

Funny game. Very serious music, creative take on the theme. Just wanted more to do.

Great visuals, I like the beetle concept, it'd be nice to have a volume changer, it was a bit loud for me.

The main menu has one. You mean an extra one that you can access during gameplay I assume?

Submitted

yep, one during gameplay

Developer(+1)

Alright made some QoL changes. music changed and you can now pause during gameplay with the escape key. Thanks for the feedback :)
