I can definitely see what you were going for here, but the game lacks a lot of polish in a few aspects. Gameplay doesn't really evolve past what the original pong did. The only difference is that you control both sides, which I feel like defeats the purpose of Pong. My recommendation is to add features like powerups . Visually, it looks fine but lacks some potential VFX for when the ball collides with something. The complete lack of sound is honestly what breaks immersion and engagement the most. While games don't need to be realistic, most players are happy to suspend disbelief and engage with a game (even for games as simple as Pong). As such, when you break their expectations (such as adding no SFX for ball collisions or scoring points) it completely breaks the flow of the game. Some background music, even if just public domain or creative commons music off of freesound or pixabay, would also help to elevate gameplay
Don't feel dissuaded from the overwhelming negativity I've thrown your way - the best way to improve is to take on feedback and try to include it in your next project!
