Really interesting game! Though my immediate reaction was "this mouse is too sensitive" - I had a hard time controlling the character and facing the way I wanted, sometimes just looking (then falling) straight down, especially after I got the dash and jump. I also found it odd to control the dash and jump with the mouse, which were the default settings... maybe because I clicked them? It said something about keybinds, but it didn't have any instructions for how to use that. It may have been as easy as "click a different button at the right time" or something, but some visual aids/instructions in-game would have been helpful when I got to that point. I did like how there were a lot of elements all in one big room, and I was so glad when I died and realized those tops (that I tried for too long to pick up) were save points.

All in all, good work here. It would be interesting to see how far you can take it if you continue tinkering after the jam!

very charming cross between 3d platformer and puzzle game, dont see too many 3d platformers in general, so kudos for that! The character controller feels tight and the animations are great. Sounds and music are very well made. Was ready for more after the 3rd level, still its pretty crazy you got 3 polished levels in the time frame. And the little spark when you fly in the sky made me chuckle, great game

Loved this

had fun, great job!

Really had fun with that one! Just finished one level after like 400s because of skill issues but I'll come back later to beat it for real. The title and character reminded me of something very specific (yeah you definitely did NOT take inspiration from Zoobles for the removable parts) Really got nothing negative to say about it, loved the retro style, kinda reminiscent of Mario64, and the (8-bit?) music as well. And of course very serious game.

Love the art direction and the freedom of rebinding the controls.

Overall the controls felt responsive and the platforming was a nice level of difficulty. I really enjoyed the puzzling elements throughout as well. Not just a linear go from A to B, but there's some thought into the order and using the tools provided to complete each level.

A nice concept and it's well executed for this jam. I think it fits well and is fun!

Very unique game, i like how you play as a funky rayman

I enjoyed experimenting with various abilities. Bound dash and jump by accident to the same key which I think was pretty funny and serious :D

My main issue tho is I got super dizzy and couldn’t play for too long

Really fun puzzles!  The abilities all felt good to use and were well utilized in level design.

I almost got stuck in Lv 2.  I wish there was a better way to indicate that the green switch made the block appear.  Even having the switch change color or something to indicate that it has been hit and something has happened would help.  Maybe make the blocks that appear a different color than the rest of the blocks in the level to make them stand out more.

I accidentally keybound one of the slots to space, which is also jump, so I dashed whenever I jumped.  Maybe disallow that keybind?

The playground at the end was a great addition!

I actually really enjoyed the style of game, the controls, the graphics, the visuals, and the first level was awesome. I got stuck on the second level and I couldn't quite figure out how to get past it, but I really liked it!

Encountered a bug I think where I could only bind one item at the start of the second level. I was only allowed to set my right foot.

That is an intended feature for the level's puzzle design. It is a bad game design choice for sure though, and hopefully future games we make have consistent feature implementations for pieces that should fit on other parts. Noted and very much appreciated!!!

I'm a huge fan of the art style. The animations are fun and the movement feels really nice. Great game!

This game is just so good. The gameplay, creativity, artstyle and mechanics make this game almost perfect. It is very challenging, which might make it not as enticing for others, but apart from that there isnt really anything bringing this game down. good job!

The model looks great. There are a bunch of spinning mechanics. I love how the spin is incorporated into basic movement too.
I had a blast. I felt like Kamen rider Fourze strangely
 Pls release the OST guys

Thank you for the compliments! The songs were actually all royalty free music from Kevin MacLeod!

Here's the list and when they were used in our game:

Title - Blip Stream

Level 1 - Blobby Samba

Level 2 - Tech Live

Level 3 - Bit Shift

Sandbox - Android Sock Hop

This is a lovely game you've made here; it's balanced really well. Great job!

Very cool concept. Platforming felt nice, just challenging enough with handfuls of "ah-ha" moments.

I like this game a lot, all different things spinning, from your body parts to the check points. Changing your body parts with different abilities are also really fun. And the aesthetics of the game are great, real psx style game.

Great game! Keep it up!❤︎

It took me awhile to figure out how to bind abilities, but once I did I had lots of fun.

I'm in love with the aesthetic, and vibe

I really enjoyed the main gimmick of equipping movement tools and having them become part of your body. The visuals were very good, I love low res shaders, and the music was on point.
I have a couple main points of feedback:
Mainly, it's on the linearity of the puzzles. The mechanics are all fun and unique and interesting, but I think not enough time was spend on using those good mechanics to create puzzles that are fun to solve. Making puzzles games is really challenging, especially in a jam setting.
The platforming is really difficult in some sections (one I had to fully cheese because it was such a tight jump). This is compounded by there being no coyote time or jump queuing, so often times when I failed a jump it didn't feel like my fault.
It does get difficult to manage all the different keybinds. It's a difficult problem to solve though, I don't know what a good solution would be. Maybe bullet time + radial menu? Not sure
Great job though!

This game fucking ROCKS! 10/10. In all seriousness tho, I love platformers and when I equipped the dash ability, my brain felt something that I may never feel again when playing through every submission. I say this in truth, take this and fully realize it, or build off of it and make something else that uses mechanics from this. Also the music is bangin, everyone that worked on this should be proud!

Much appreciated!! <3

We're glad you had so much fun with the swappable abilities and will definitely consider using what we've learned making this project in the future. As for the music, that's all royalty free from Kevin MacLeod!
