Fun game the pizza minigame was confusing but otherwise no problems! I really wish you had a background sound track rather than JUST ambient noise but ce la vie. Good job!

Also I played on stream, thanks again for sharing!

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! Glad you enjoyed. I agree the pizza minigame should have a spin indicator on or following the pizza

I hope they never fix this bug, so I can get away with slacking off all day, haha!

Developer

We could all use a day off sometime! Happy Monday!

This was a really fun and original WarioWare-style game. I liked the office/corporate framing a lot, and the idea of playing spin-based minigames to crash your work computer and escape Monday was really funny. The variety of minigames kept it interesting, and the 90s CG/office vibe gave the whole thing a unique personality.

My main feedback is that a few minigames could be clearer or smoother to control. The car and fishing games were a little confusing at first, and the cursor/window input felt limiting in some spots. A skip intro button would also make retrying much nicer, and some light background music or extra sound effects could help the minigames feel more alive. Overall though, this was a creative, funny, and very serious entry. Great work!

Developer

Thank you so much for the great feedback! You are not alone in your opinions!

After hearing so much great feedback we definitely agree, and see what we can do better in the future.

Thanks again, glad you enjoyed. Happy Monday!

Just played it! Very original take on the theme. Very serious (exteremely serious)! And yeah, it was cool. I got the "ending" where time ran out hough i don't know if there was more to it than that so yeah. I also found a bug in the spinning turtle where the screen went all gray which didn't let me continue :((

Developer(+1)

Sorry about the turtle issue! We weren't sure what caused it so we weren't able to fix it during the jam. It seemed extremely rare in our testing.

We hope you enjoyed regardless, and there a total of 7 minigames if you wanted to try again! Hopefully the turtle doesn't strike twice haha

Heh, cute little game. Clever framing for a mini game compilation. Took me a while to realize what to do in some of the mini games, really wish I could skip the opening cut scene so I could retry more quickly. Some background music would have been nice, of course, but I know it's a jam and there's only so much time in the day. Other than that, not many notes. Happy monday!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed! Happy Monday!

A skip intro button is a great idea!

How very serious! unique spin on the "day at work" idea. The steering wheel in the car minigame lacked a bit more sensitivity, but otherwise, well done.
We'd appreciate if you tried out our game! it's a fighting incremental

Developer

Hey thanks for playing and leaving a comment! You can change your Mouse Sensitivity with “O” (decrease) and “P” (increase) to help with that! Give it another go!

Submitted(+1)

That does help a bit! Also during the fishing minigame, i suppose there are fish and bombs but everything is just a black rectangle?

Developer (1 edit)

Yes someone else had the same graphical issue, are you using Firefox by chance?

Not sure what causes it, but they were using Firefox and I never ran into the issue in my testing with Chrome. Other than that, I have no idea! Sorry it’s not working for you!

Thanks for playing though :)

Submitted(+1)

yes, Linux Firefox

Hell yeah, a WarioWare-like game? Fantastic! The only thing I wish it had was some minigame music, besides that it was fun :D

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback! We experimented with music for each mini-game but with how short some of them were, it felt pretty jarring.

We ended up going for a more ambient audio setup to make the office more immersive, and lean into the “serious” category. But maybe a little of background music would help, or more sound effects!

Glad you enjoyed! Thanks again for the comment!

Fun game! I also did a WarioWare-like! The art is interesting and I like the concept. Like TaPanters said, spinning UI sounds really fun, but  great game!

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to play and provide feedback! We really appreciate it!

Submitted(+1)

Fun Game! I love WarioWare-likes! the visual art style is also stunning! my only hope is that you make the spinning UI work even when the cursor is outside the little window. good job dude!!!

Developer(+1)

Yes, the window-only movement for the minigames is definitely not ideal. It was my first time passing inputs to subviewports in Godot so I think I'll have a better understanding now for next time!

Thanks for playing and leaving feedback!

Great concept and a lot of fun! The theme was really done justice! The Wario Ware aspect is super cool, too! Excellent game!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and your feedback! Glad you enjoyed!

fun  serious game with a fun  serious story! However, the car minigame was a bit hard for me, I felt like the steering wheel barely turned the car. (Note: I was playing on my laptop's trackpad because my mouse battery died)

Developer

Try using P to change the mouse sensitivity up! We would love it if you were able to enjoy the game!

Submitted(+1)

Pretty fun, love the vibe of the office and the difficulty of the car minigame, overall a nice short experience :>

Make it stop spinning so much!

As described a great warrio wear esc spin game.

Thanks for playing!

Spun the turtle too fast...

Great game! Loved the concept and the idea!

Developer

Fun meta game experience with a comedic story witch I enjoyed. Did glitch out and get stuck in the spinning turtle section as the screen went grey and nothing appeared but other than that error it was a fantastic experience!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it!

That is a known bug I’ve been unsuccessful in tracking down, sorry about that! I haven’t been able to reproduce it reliably

Love games within games within games in game jams. Didn't figure out how to get the fish. The highlight was the car game, felt very nice to spin the wheel to move the car from one side to the other. Also loved the pause menu making you spam click to close it!

(posted the same in the comments, I don't know which one is more helpful for you)

Developer (1 edit)

hey, thanks for playing the game and leaving feedback! The fish game controls are basically identical to the racing game except horizontal instead of vertical. You should be able to spin the reel next to the bar and move the hook up and down. How do you think that we could make that more clear? Thank you very much for the feedback!

Give it another go, the final mini game is the best one ha ha!

Submitted

Then it broke for me hahaha, the rod didn't move when I spun the reel... I'll give it another go if itch.io stops dying on me!

Developer

Just letting you know I moved the hooks starting position to help people not get stuck so easily!

If you spin it too far in one direction, the hook/car will stop moving, but the rotation will still happen. So you have to **unspin** it the opposite direction. A little bit of a bug.

Thanks again for your feedback!

Loved the corpo vibe and variety of minigames. I wanna wait on voting though, because I think I'm having some issue with cursor speed? I cranked mine all the way up, but the cursor moved way too slowly in full screen. I was having issues playing most of the game. Maybe a bug fix? I'm using a 2k monitor on macOS, not sure if that helps. Would love to play more if this is fixed!!

Developer

Hey thanks for the feedback! I definitely want to add a settings menu with mouse sensitivity as an option. I never got around to it, thanks for the reminder! I'll add that sometime in the next 12 hours and ping you here!

Developer

I have added "O" and "P" as controls to decrease and increase the mouse sensitivity respectfully! Thanks again for your feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Love how the fish are just hanging around in the boat when caught xD

Developer

Thanks for playing the game and leaving feedback! We really appreciate it.

We tried to add lots of little details like that haha
