Banger idea, banger execution, amazing visuals and I had a blast with it :D

Fantastic nautical experience! 3D models are clean, the colors are vibrant, and the camera transitions were a nice touch (the credits sign was well placed)

First game I didn't realize how the clock mechanic worked. I figured it out after opening the "how to play" tab, but my second game I spend too much time thinking and not enough time spinning so I lost early. In my third game I spun too fast. There was nothing that told me how I should play optimally, so it felt like I was running into unintuitive barriers. A little more direction and this game would be a fun challenge to get better scores with!

Thanks for checking it out! Your absolutely right that the tutorialization could be done better. Definitely one of the main things that needs to be addressed post jam.

What an extremely creative way of spinning! Who knew time could make a nice game mechanic! The difficulty spikes are very natural and flows well into the gameplay. I really envy those who are high up in the leaderboards ahaha. Great job to everyone who worked on the game!

such a gorgeous game !!! i love the colour palette used and the gameplay was super unique! ...although i was really bad at it, i kept having to look at the clock on my wall while playing... Great game !!

This game is so addictive, the music and visuals are colorful and fun, and the clock mechanic is such a unique yet shrimple concept I love it.  As of writing this our other artist is still spinning Shrimpy with 19k  sand dollars. I don't know when this will stop. Bro has 130 seconds on the timer. @Plurtish we miss you.

Excellent work :>

So glad you enjoyed, thank you so much!! We hope your artist comes home from Club Scampi one day...

That’s a hilarious game with incredibly cool art! It’s also great that you’ve included a real leaderboard.

The art style here is really cool and it was fun to watch the shrimp do a little dance as you spun :)

The art and visuals were really what drew me in, but I stayed because of how fun this game actually was! It took a little bit to get the hang of the clock mechanic, but I really enjoyed playing a few rounds after I understood what to do. Very cool shrimp game!

Hello! I played a few runs of your game, and I have some feedback.

  • Graphically, this game is really charming and cute! I love the shrimp!
  • The 'draw a clock' idea is so creative! (A shrimp poledancer is really creative too, lol). It was pretty simple at first but when the game starts asking for times that aren't right angles it gets a bit challenging! I had to stop and think of a clock a few times, lol.
  • Having a leaderboard is very cool! However, is it a real leaderboard or a, like 'beat the preset scores' leaderboard? That wasn't very clear because it doesn't register with a name you set, but assigns you one. I think it's a real one because the scores all end in random digits, not round numbers, but I'm not 100% sure.
    • I understand not wanting to let people type whatever in case they put something profane (I know the internet...), but maybe so you could make it so you can make a name from a bank of sea related words? Like, you combine 2 pre-set words to come up with your own name? Just a thought.
  • It wasn't always registering my clicks when I was trying to draw times really fast. This may be because I was playing it windowed, not fullscreen (as recommended on your page) and I may have been clicking off the screen.
  • I played 2 runs where I intentionally lost just to see the 'cooked' and 'hooked' animations. Cooked is so cute! But, I had to click so much to get it I don't think it would ever happen during normal gameplay while someone was also trying to get poses.
    • When clicking fast to see this animation without moving my mouse the game was registering all my clicks as '12:15', for some reason.

I really liked this one! I could see sending it to some people and competing for high scores! I made the leaderboard (but, again, I'm not 100% sure it's a 'real' leaderboard).

Have a wonderful day and good luck in the Jam!

Hey there! Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback!!

The leaderboard is indeed real. Our artist has the highest score idk how and I'm SpongeySeaweed at #3 currently. The names are set up exactly how you described except they're just randomly chosen out of 20 adjectives and 20 nouns. Random and not chosen for now since it was more UI work that I didn't have time for lol

I appreciate you bringing the points on clicking/drawing to our attention, we'll look into it!

Developer(+1)

The 12:15 on click seems to be a mouse/sensitivity thing. For instance on my home setup I never encountered the issue, but trying the game on my work computer today it's happening to me as well.

We'll look into adjusting it once the jam rating period is over. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

I made it onto the leaderboard! (✿◠‿◠) Thanks so much for making this game; I love the art, and it's such a fun, silly take on the theme! I was not expecting to get as invested and tryhard as I did, frantically trying to draw clock faces to extend the timer to get more cash was very moreish!

Submitted(+3)

Such a nice vibe even before you understand the gameplay.

Also, I finally made it on the top ten with 422! We’ll see how long that lasts. image.png
