This game is SICK in every meaning of the word!
I wish there was a bit more variety in the enemies. All bears is fine, but last time I was at the club there were definitely some twinks there too. Just something to keep in mind. Either way GREAT JOB!

Thank you so much for playing it and for the feedback!!!
I'm currently trying to implement new type of enemies, I will try to release an update by the end of this month.

Funny and easy to play. Witch a hard rock music can play it for hours

OLE OLE OLE!

Very cool revolver-spinning mechanic, with how the game encourages you to spin more to generate power. The graphics are nice too. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the kind words!!!

Fiquei muito hypada girando minha arma, 10/10!!!!!!!!

This is an awesome proof of concept. I noped out of El Paso Elsewhere due to the difficulty but had a wonderful time in that space, similar vibes here. The mousefeel of landing a combo and shooting a pighead is extremely satisfying. Looks and sounds great, really solid jam game!

The potential of this game is really high! If its gameplay is smoother and faster, like other boomer-shooters, I think it could be perfect, and the gun spinning is the thing I enjoy the most! You know, if this mechanic got a few polishes, I think this game will become one of the most memorable experiences! Also, congrats on the submission!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game and for the feedback!! I hope I can polish the game after  the game jam voting it's over.

You did it! You released it! You got enemies in there and everything. The gun felt good to shoot-- honestly I just wanted to do MORE damage, and shoot more!

Developer

I DID IT!!!! I barely release it a few hours before the deadline, at 4AM in my time zone.
Thanks forplaying and for the feedback!

I already reply you about the damage in the other post, but just in case you didn't read it I copy post it here:

Sorry I didn't have time for a tutorial, you can easly oneshot enemies increasing your power over POWERx10, to do so you have to hold your combo, and finish/start new combost whithout too much time delay between them.

If you get damage or lose the balance of a spin trick you fail the combo and all your power in the process.

If you want to give me a contact I can DM you and I can show you on screen share on discord.

I really liked the old school doom vibes, if there was some recoil on the camera when shooting think that would make everything even more visceral

Developer

Thanks for playing it and for the comment!

I agree the shooting might benefit with a camera shake as well as when the player is damaged

Such  a fun game. The graphics are my favourite part, I LOVE them. You should probably add a small tutoriol ( I had to learn the mechanics through trial and error ) and maybe add more ways to increase your tricks counter and more weapons ( A shotgun would do NUMBERS ). But it was an amazing game!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing the game and for the kind words!

I'm planning on adding some kind of tutorial after the game jam voting finish.

Did you find useful the controls showcase in the HUD?

Submitted

Yup! They were pretty useful and honestly I learnt how the game worked from thos

I loved the rocket jump mechanic(I love movement mechanics). I also really loved the dead shot idea of a 100% lost combo on a miss. Overall a great experience.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing the game and for your kind words!
So glad you liked the dead shot thing, since this game was trying to translate the tony hawk games to an FPS I wanted an equivalent of falling off the skate.

Loved the learning curve a lot as well as the concept! The graphics are super cool as well with the filter being my favorite aspect of it.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing it and for your kind words! So glad you liked the visuals, I was trying to get some liminal VHS vibe

Very cool game! I liked the usage of the theme, it was very creative, and the gameplay was pretty smooth and fun. I had some trouble getting the aiming with the mouse to work in the browser, but otherwise I had no problems. Great job!

I just added a Windows and Linux version if you wanna try it, but didn't have time to test it or add exit button, so you will have to exit with alt+f4

The game seems to be always laggy the first min or so in web version.
It worked for me and other people in firefox and edge. Some people got problems with Chrome and other browsers.

Also, your problem maybe it's the same I got, just open the pause menu (click 1, 2 or 3) and click in any button, that may fix it.

Awesome! I wish the combo system was a little more complex! but the idea is there! and more enemy variety like a flying one!

Developer

Thank you for playing it and for the comment!  I absolutly agree with you, but didn't have the time for the jam, I barely post this current version in time haha. But I'm intended to relese a version with new combos and enemies after the jam voting finish.
Follow me on itch io to get notified then :)
