I thought the idea of combining mouse and keyboard controls was really clever and refreshing.
I think the game could become even more interesting with puzzles that make more complex use of both input methods. Just as I was getting comfortable with the controls, I reached the finale and found myself wishing there was more to play.
If you ever add more levels, I'd be happy to come back and play them. Thanks again!
this was a neat little experience. the levels with the hybrid mouse/keyboard interface were interesting, and that feels like a mechanic that could definitely lead to some more difficult puzzles if explored further.
The level with the orange blocks where you learn about the "joining" mechanic had a great "aha" moment! There's great puzzle design in making it clear with the narrow passageways that it's impossible after making a mistake / not learning what you needed to learn.
Wow, after being puzzled on level 3 (didn't read any instructions), I noticed that the blocks join and thereby create a complexity. Now that I know that, I was able to solve level 3 and enjoyed going further. Nice job here. Making the puzzles is as much of a challenge as making the game. I feel the same with my submission, please feel free to check it out. It has a built in (cheat mode) level editor and perhaps before the jam is over I'll add the ability for user submitted levels.
