Ok ngl this is a crazy idea lol. Really interesting take on rewinding, and opens up so many unique situations. I really dig the Hotline Miami vibes here.
I think having the player rewind death is a bit OP, a lot of times I’d just run straight into the enemy, rewind if I die, then just grab a table or something and push the enemy to walls lol. Such a broken strategy.
Overall, really unique entry, I enjoyed it. Great job!
Also I am totally playing the intended way trust me bro™️
Glad you enjoyed! And yeah if you push the button enough times you beat the game, just keep pushing it, trust..
Ok that's a refreshing one and an interesting take on time-rewinding: only the player's state goes back in time but the world stays the same. That was basically super useful for phasing through stuff and I wish there were more levels to expand on this really smart gimmick. Only issue with that is when rewinding, the enemies are still seeking for you which is not very natural since only the supernatural being (i.e the player) should be aware of their own state when rewinding, if that makes sense. If I had to point out another issue, it would be that enemies' line of sight could use some fixing: sometimes they would shoot me through props when it looked like they shouldn't have been able to (although this is just a mild annoyance because I can just rewind time) and when at point blank, they simply wouldn't be able to kill me because bullets spawn too far away from their own position. This gave me puzzle / escape game vibes and it felt like playing it on "easy mode" because rewinding is so broken. To expand on this, you could keep the current levels and add a "normal mode" where for each room, the amount of rewind time is limited: should make the player use their brain at least. Other than that, really great game and it is a hilarious excuse that "rewinding time spins the hand of the watch hence you spin to win". I remember thinking of something similar but scrapped it early on. Glad someone actually did it.
Glad you enjoyed! And yeah, it really does feel too easy at times. Also about theme, we were VERY loose with it but eh whatchagonnado, all we know is there is something that spins and you have to do it to win the game sooo...
Very impressive mechanics! Rewinding time and shoving things around was a lot of fun. There are some ways to bypass the guards easily but I really enjoyed the game regardless.
P.S. the blue button room is pure evil
Glad you enjoyed! And apologies for that room, maybe we were too into it that we didn't realize what someone who's never played the game would do when facing it..
Interesting entry

really good game, the pixel art is really clean ! being able to push enemies is a bit broken tho, and I managed to get stuck with furniture and no way out (maybe a skill issue on me). other than that I loved it !
Yea that might happen sorries :) our artist appreciates your comment tho!
Really cute and fun game! Though i will say it was probably not a good idea to let the guards be pushable with the furniture I could bypass all the puzzles easily by shoving a guard into a corner using a chair until their FOV was nonexistent but other than that really well done!
Thank you for the feedback and glad you enjoyed!
I had a lot of fun playing this! the best, and most serious, part for me was when i softlocked myself in the room with the blue button and spawned probably like 150 guards by spamming the blue button after i realized i softlocked myself by being not very smart. But anyway, great game!
Glad you enjoyed!
Really cool game! I loved the rewind mechanic and the unique puzzle idea. The art is charming too. I think a bit more clarity and challenge would make it even better, but overall I had a lot of fun.
Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed!
I may be biased towards cats but i had such a blast playing this game, the mechanics are fantastically done and the content is really impressive for a game jam entry! I had a lot of fun bringing bartholemeow home :3 <3
Thank you for the kind words, so happy you enjoyed the game! ❤️
cool!
Very serious cat matters
Yes indeed.
I really like this concept, and the art/audio work together well too! I enjoyed the puzzle aspect to the game, and I enjoyed how easy it was to trap guards in corners, though I kind of doubt that was intentional. I saw someone else also had this issue, but I did get stuck in the same guard spawning pit. I realized a little too late that I was meant to rewind out of the pit, and was stuck in there until I got bored enough to spawn so many guards the game was suffering. Other than that, I think the idea works really well and was well executed! Well done.
Thanks for the kind words! Our audio guy really appreciated your compliment on the audio :)
Very long self explanatory title usually means cool game. It meant cool game here.
I'm not very good with stealth games but the idea is amazing, really loved coming back from the dead (i did that a lot of times unfortunatelly).
It was pretty fun, great job :)
Thank you so much!
The idea was very cool, but I miss to have more puzzles/situations like the first desk that it blocks the pass. As other people say, the gaurds are very easy to trick them and spamming the space bar, you can reach any button without need to move anything or try to "solve" the situation.
I cannot continue playing because I was locked in a room that is locked and spawn two guards when you press the button. After that I cannot go out of that room anymore...
Fun fact: I spamming the button of the room and rewind the time, and infinite guards were spawning until the game cannot process to many instances :)
Whoops yea you're only meant to walk in, press that button once and then get out using the spacebar. Shoud've seen the spawning thing but oh well. Thanks for the feedback and let us know if you try again using the hint I gave you!
I really dig the artworks and pixel art. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure on how to progress further in the level as the mechanics didn't work for me.
So sorry! What mechanics didn't work for you? Might be able to help if you tell us.
I got stuck at the second table, I tried pointing and clicking left to remove it but didnt work :(
You can only drag tables by holding right click and then moving using WASD. If you mean the table in the corridor, you basically have to drag it backwards and then press and hold space. I don't exactly understand what you mean by pointing and clicking left but if you're talking about throwing things, there's special throwable objects and you can only throw those. You can look for the tooltips at the bottom of the screen that pop up and tell you what you can do when you're near something that you can interact with. and if you get stuck / softlock yourself you can press R to reset the level
Hi, I just replayed it and figured out where I went wrong, the movement rewind going past the table was really cool and am enjoying my time with it right now :)
Glad to help!
Really like the puzzles. I didnt notice at first that you can rewind time lol ( yeah i didnt read the whole game title before playing) . The intro art work is really good. I think the whole game should have been in that black and white artstyle so that it fits aesthetically with the intro and would have given the game a unique charm. Also I think there could have been better menus and ui
Anyway its a really good game
Thanks so much for your kind words
and I also just checked out your game and it's absolutely fantastic (and very serious)
i think this has great potential as a puzzle/strategy game but in its current state ive found it a little easy to cheese the guards and just rewind whenever i get shot and keep going. but good bones and the time rewind mechanic works super well!
Thanks for the feedback
and yeah it's too easy, maybe we should've added a limited amount of rewinds per level or so
Like others said: the guards are easy to manipulate and the goal location isn't very clear to me but otherwise I am amazed how well this plays. The smoothness and polish and great art really make this a contender.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
i feel like the guards dont pose as much of a threat as they should since you can just rewind to before you were dead
Yeah maybe a limit on the rewind would've been better
Funny concept and a nice game the initial cut-scene art style is quite pretty and the overall idea was pretty funny and unique. One thing is the fact that the guards don't also go back in time, but overall it was a decent play.
Thanks for the feedback!
