Thanks for the feedback.
I just updated the game yesterday, probably after you play the game. I was working in multiple things to improve the game, and one of them is an upgrade to have a double jump 😉

I play multiple cooking games, and this one is one of the best of this jam in this genre. Also it's a very polished game and the art is nice.
The idea of every food has an effect that stacks is very interesting. This could be improved combining with the "dish discovery", for example, a dish could have an extra multiplier.
The game has potential.
To comment something to improve, the music loop is a bit repetitive, but it's good.
Also as other mentioned, I would like the conveyor belt being little bit faster or it has more "slots".
Great work!
You should describe what the player has to do. I thought that I had to collect all the oil tanks but all the time I had the "game over" screen. After two three tries, I understand that what the game wants is the player click the gears meanwhile has oil/fuel.
Maybe you could suggest this in the game, making a big gear or just a short text line describing what the player has to do
Great platformer. The level design of every level is fine. Also the concept of tying the abilities with the life it's interesting.
Maybe the air jump should be limited by one or something like that, because I was able to skip some parts of the level just jumping in the air.
Also the camera is a bit anoying at some point when suddenly change the prespective.
But the game has a lot of content and the movement feels good.
Nice game
The idea is nice. But is too repetitive and without progression. Also the minigame of the equalizers is very easy, you just have to click in the middle, I accidentally discovered this "feature".
The atmosphere is very nice.
I do not why but at some moment, I think I saw a shotgun from the chute. Or at least I heart a lot of shots. Maybe it was some weird bug with the rod...
Cooking theme fits very well with the jam's theme.
The game is a bit confusing. Maybe the timers could be just "1,2,3,4" positions that represent a duration, instead of specific seconds. It's hard to know where is the 8 and the 11 with the current design of the timer.
As other comments say, it's weird that the food will be always sliced after boiled it.
Another detail is the countdown of the dish quality sometimes is shorter thant the time of boiling a vegetable, so it's made "impossible" to accomplish. I know that I could boiling the vegetables in advance, but without a hint of what there is inside the pot you have to play memo game 😅
A part of these details, the game is playable and after I completed some orders, the game was more easy to play.
Good job
Like the concept and the main mechanics are well developed. The way the weight is affecting to the movility and the gas proximity speed up the filter countdown is nice.
I'm not sure if it's a bug, but in the web version I cannot see more than two areas to get sulfur, and at some point after the second one, I see the same message appears in the sulfur rocks to interact, but there wasn't anything.
Also some characters are not rendering correctly, for example, the "/" or other symbols were rendered as "tofu chars".
The idea is very interesting. Using the health as a timer and give different skills to the player based on that.
The art is also very good, but as other comments say, it's a bit difficult to see what is interactive or when the gates are open or not.
Maybe another detail could be add some marks in the bottom bar to make more clear when the character can push a box or have the double jump. The detail of the head being smaller over time is cool, but sometimes I didn't know when I was able to use the double jump.
The art and the context of the game are fine.
It was a bit frustating that many times I couldnt't click small animals because other bigger were in front of them. I think you already do the animals moving when the cursor where close to them to prevent that situation but maybe a bigger collider or another camera angle will help on that
Thanks for playing. Related on what you ask:
1- Bad art :P I wanted to use some icon to make clear that the stamina only affects to the axe. Maybe a simple "E" from energy or "S" from stamina will be more clear
2- I use Chrome, I didn't check Firefox, I expected that work...
3- I didn't balancing the game very well, the days are more related to the narrative than the gameplay...
4- This was an idea I had (thats the reason of the islands) but I didn't have time during the jam to implement
I get the drill, but then the game was reset as I lost the energy and cannot use the drill. I don't understand if that is a bug or is part of the game.
Great art but a little bit confusing in my opinion. Some elements of the scenario are lighter: dolls, rubick cubes... I thought they were interactive, but they weren't. For example, the first time I use a stairs I thought I was interacted with a rocks in the ground, but I was interacted with a stairs next to them... This made me thing all the time that the rocks were the stairs :) and I didn't realize there were stairs to go up and down after a while...
I get stuck after get the drill, so I didn't complete the game. But the idea is very nice. Great work
Start the first swing is a bit difficult, but after understand how it works, the next rounds are quickly to start.
At a first glance, I didn't understand what the games use to score (I needed 3-4 tries to understand when the game score the balls)
The visuals are good and the retro-style is nice.
Good game
The game idea is nice and you put a lot of work in the menu.
But I think that the green is "too much green", Maybe using some limited palette color like pico 8 or some monocrhome gameboly-like game, the visual will improve a lot.
The levels are well designed. Maybe the time of gravity switch is a bit short, but it isn't frustating.
Good work
I cannot play in the browser.
Only I can comment about the beginning and end of the game. It should be some "start button" at least, or the player cannot have time to understand what happening. Also, at the end you could restart the game or include some game over screen + reset. I had to refresh the webpage the first time I tried the game because I was killed before trying to play 😅
Good game.
Nice Survivors-like game. The idea of build the roulette based on the upgrades is very cool.
Related to the controls, I think that firing and the spell casts could be aoutomatic, the player could still aim with the mouse of cours. But keep the mouse button pressing all the time and spamming the space bar to cast spells is and inconvenient in my opinion.
Also the constant colision with the enemies is a bit frustating, maybe give the player a short time of invulneravility to pass throught the enemies after hit one, it will help.
Cool idea. But I required some time to understand that the grey areas of the planets where not the plantes, I avoided them to not collide to the planet but I didn't see any effect on the speed, then I realized that thos areas where the areas of effect.
Maybe an improvement could be to zoom out the camera to give more anticipation to the player and using some other thing to identify the areas of effect (maybe a radial gradient, some outline line...)
I reviewed and voting 80 games and I will try to reach 100.
Put your games and I will review and rate them.
Also, I would like to have more feedback of my game. Here is my game:
Puzzle + mystery, that accidentally it's similar to Iron Lung /jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4715481
