Dang i wanted to see more of Euboia, nice concept i liked it!
Honestly wish we'd managed to do more! But it was our first game jam and we started a day late, so 6 days was pretty short in the end ;v; Thank you for playing!
Very sad that it ended so quickly! Beautiful art and concept.
Haha, sadly we didn't have time to implement more! This was our first game jam, and my first time ever touching Godot, so we wound up not having time to do much more... Thank you for playing!
Oh wow, it's extremely well made for a first jam! <3
I think the idea was amazing but disappointed by the content. Probably with more content and more polish this probably would have been on of my favorites from this jam
Understandable! This was our first game jam, and my first time touching Godot ( and I was alone to code)- so we simply wound up running out of time :') Still, thank you for playing!! Perhaps we'll pick this up again to make this a proper full game!
Nice art. The idea is also very fun but more content would be great.
Thank you! Perhaps a full build shall come one day... :)
Love the gameplay, the way you integrate the jam's theme is very creative! I wish there was more levels to play, tho.
It was a very fun gameplay loop to consider! We sadly ran out of time on implementation, what with starting a day late and having to learn Godot during the jam itself, but perhaps we'll make a full game out of this! Thank you so much for playing :3
Love the art style and the spinning maze concept. Wish there were more levels though.
Sadly, we did run out of time! What with me being the only one coding in the group for this jam, and having to learn Godot itself on top... We had plans for more levels, but things didn't go as we'd hoped. Maybe we could make a full game out of this though! Thank you for playing :D
Really beautiful art, love the painted style. I thought at first there was no way to complete the puzzle, then I remembered the jam theme and figured it out pretty quickly after that xD.
Would be cool to expand it a bit with more levels and maybe a 3rd layer to rotate.
Glad to hear it! Learning Godot was the main endeavor of this jam, given I had never touched it before- But the art was something I and the rest of the team definitely knew how to handle. Perks of being an artist first I suppose!
A small tutorial pop-up on the first level, or even just highlighting the maze parts when howevered over surely would have made it more obvious you can spin them... But not enough time in the week. :')
If we pick this up again, priority is definitely on more levels and more complexity.
Thank you so much for playing!
Love the art style, the idea is great and fits really well with the jam theme. Like others said, I wish there were more levels.
Thank you so much for playing! Hopefully, we'll pick this up again later!
The art is pretty and the concept is nice. Wished there were a few more levels, as these were fairly quick to complete, but time is not infinite. Great work! :D
Indeed, one week sadly wound up too short for more... We had plans for other two layered mazes, as well as three layered ones!
Thank you for playing our game regardless. :3
Beautiful game, with incredible visuals (my only wish on that end would be if the UI matched the style of the rest of the game). In the future, looking forward to more levels with more layers!
Aside from more layers, it would also be really fun to introduce concepts such as enemies to avoid on routes that will move when you move, and to make it more obvious which areas you can and cannot rotate (probably just a short how to play screen would suffice).
Good job :)
Glad to hear the visuals are looking good! Funny you mention the UI, we were just working on it! It should look a bit more fitting now.
A proper how-to-play/tutorial screen would be nice! The jam wound up too short for us to do everything we wanted to do, but it's definitely necessary... And having enemies on some layers sounds interesting...
Thank you so much for the feedback and for playing our game!
I love the art!! Would love more complex levels if you ever decided to expand on this game!
Thanks! There were plans for mazes with 3 layers, but we ran out of time on that... Hopefully, on an extended build!
I love how the art looks! The idea is nice, It took me a sec to figure out what to spin after I already moved my character. Interested in more levels!
Thank you so much for playing! Perhaps, in an extended build, hovering over the maze sections would highlight them, so it's easier to tell you can spin them? Thank you for for the feedback :D
Nice concept, incredible art. I would love to play this as a full game. I'm not sure I like having to use the mouse for rotating the sections, though.
Thank you so much! We might continue working on it post-jam, for the heck of it. Also, that's good feedback- I did picture the possibility to be able to spin the maze sections through keyboard ( by having two keys to spin clockwise or counterclockwise ), and the ability to switch the active section with another key- That way, the whole game would be playable with keyboard! Sadly, the jam was limited in time :')
Is there another way you'd picture rotating the maze sections?
Let's see, maybe have two keys that rotate all the sections, except the one you're standing on? That'd be functionally the same as rotating one section. Though it might look a bit confusing, I don't know.
Or maybe have levers that rotate specific sections, or something like that? That would certainly help make the puzzles harder.
I enjoyed this small puzzle demo, only wishing that there were a bit more, far more actually.
I would say at its current level of development the maze levels are far far too easy. But with further development and far more complexity in the spinning of maze sections (more than just two) I truly think this could become a fully developed mini game.
Well Done!
The team and I did indeed plan to have more complex mazes, like ones with three layers! Sadly, we ran out of time :') Still, if we pick this up again post-jam, there's plans for 3-segment mazes, and mazes playing around with the locking section mechanic.
Thank you for taking the time to play our game!
