My favorite one is sunny! I feel like it is that annoying friend you try to avoid that keeps coming to talk to you IN THE WORST MOMENTS POSSIBLE 🤣. The forecasts are really cool! The thunder effect is on the spot and it adds a bit of randomness and challenge to the game. I would had something telling us when we hit the game limits (or imaginairy walls) I kept getting stuck and dying because I didn't know where they were! I also suggest to make improvements affordable after the first round to make the start of the game easier. Congrats for your game!
My favorite cloud is the sunny one ! But hail cloud is cool too.
I think there is a bug if you click too fast on continue in the tutorial the screen goes gray and you can't do anything (I did it the second time I went to the tutorial because there was only one point I had forgotten and I remembered the rest so I skipped it very fast and it caused the bug I think).
Gameplay wise, I don't really play bullet hell games (and I'm bad at them) so I don't know if it is an intended feature or not but the map is finite, I was stuck against an invisible wall at some point.
The art is not the greatest but it had its charm, I like it, and each cloud has its own personality that's really nice. Also the art style is very consistent which makes everything look better and cohesive, except for the big smileys they clash too much with the rest I would suggest you to remove them.
You are the first person to find a bug, so congrats to you! Honestly I'm happy it's taken this long for anyone to find a softlock, and I'm also happy you enjoyed the game enough for you to go through the tutorial twice. I realize now that the game has gotten to the public the invisible borders in the game are kind of problematic, so I understand your confusion there. I'm happy you liked the art, for I do not consider myself the best artist by any means. Thanks for the feedback!
Cool concept, giving new and unique variations on what is existent on this bullet hell/heaven genre. Some problems were that enemies that randomly spawn in a corner of the map can just not go for the player, leaving them to try and find where they are (which amplifies other issues such as the world border not being indicated clearly). Overall pre chill game that with more polish with sound and effects (the design is personally endearing which adds to the chill vibe), easily could see myself getting a round or two in at breaks if i was still in school. Great spinniness as well with the wheel 10/10 for that :)
Thanks for the praise on the wheel! I wish I could have polished my game more, but this week long limit made that hard. Thanks for the rating!
Forecast system is clever! I enjoyed the concepts at play, and felt they could use a little more polish. Having invisible borders instead of something the player can see causes unexpected instances of taking damage because you didn't realize you were cornered, for example. I liked that the clouds all had different faces!
Thanks for the Feedback!
This game reminds me of the countless flash games I played when I was young, what with the visual aesthetic and fun nature of the in-game text, and I really like it. I also really like the way you implemented the "spin to win" theme as well as the forecast system: both of these add a layer of randomness that keeps players on their toes by requiring them to be adaptive. If you improve the audio a bit more and add some more visual feedback for when you take damage or damage enemies, this game would be even better. But overall this was solid!
I'm happy this reminds you of fond memories, that's all I wanted from this game.
That was a good idea. You should work on your assets :)
Ok :)
