I liked the visuals and jump mechanic.

On the part of the first rooftops, I was lost for a while, because I couldn't see at first glance the blue platform where I was supposed to go

On the second rooftops where it shows red and green on the ground, I failed to understand where to go

Developer

Yeah a lot ended up either cut or not fully developed. The part with the red and green color was supposed to be another area but I didnt have enough time so I just changed to an optional area that gives some lore. It's a bit of environment story telling where you first see the red paint at the bottom and see it on the wall of the building which gets the main character Yellow curious and when checking out what's up there it's a lore reveal that Red was fighting Green. I didnt really have time to add any fancy rewards or anything and changing the whole structure would have been too much as well so the elevator stayed and just brought you to a little bit of story

Wow nice entry! I like the suggestions of worldbuilding and a bigger story. The style felt very unique and hand crafted, and I enjoyed the focus jump mechanic.

Developer

Thanks! Glad you like it

The concept and the title "Killer Society" sound really intriguing! The game looks super cool, and the overall style is quite nice. Making a jam project in Unreal Engine is always an ambitious task, so kudos for that. I definitely rated it higher, especially in the Creativity category!

If I had to give a small piece of feedback, the loading time after clicking "Begin" takes quite a while, and at first, it almost feels like the game froze or crashed. Adding a simple loading bar or a "Please wait" text overlay would help a lot so players know it's just processing under the hood. Overall, awesome effort! 🛠️🎬🔥

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I actually did plan a loading screen but ran out of time for that. I did leave a note about the long loading time at the games download page though, that's the best I had to offer. But glad to get such constructive feedback, it's very much appreciated

I dont know y but after I click on begin, it didn't start and went on not responding. It kept doing that

Developer

Yeah, it can take a while to load. How long did you wait for it to respond?
