Dude I love the animations for this game! Especially in the first level the way the character looks where you point the flashlight and will do a little backwards walk if you walk the other way is so cool! The second level felt a bit random because you move way too slow to dodge the fish. And the third level could definitely use better instructions but at least you addressed that on the itch page. The ending kinda pissed me off ngl but I was a very big fan of using the mouse to draw platforms (reminded me of an old ben 10 flash game). But yeah great game man!
really nice game i love it, the story, the art, the music, i couldn't get pas level 3 tho, there was no button
The presentation and the rhymes for the story are very cool, the minimal-pixel art style at the beginning also suited it very well. The music during the parts was also cool. Some notes:
A very nice little romp through a dark adventure, partly or mostly taking place within the painter's head. Hopefully, at least. If not, the part where he had to carry the love of his life's head through a spinning, mazelike mansion must've been quite the horrid experience for the guy.
A fun and complete game made in just 8 days! I like the blend of gameplay mechanics, animation complexity and the variety of entities in the game. Makes it truly a unique and creative piece
Great game, i just felt i didn't really see the spinning aspect of it. Great job!
I assume the spinning the later levels to get to the end was the spinning aspect! Took me a bit to realize I even could do that, and I was stuck until I tested the arrow keys.
