I really liked the polish that was done on all the menus, it added much needed presence in areas that might have been boring otherwise. The art style is also great, what program did you use? The gameplay was fun but sadly I experienced a bug that stopped me from being able to activate the spinner on f2/3, r2/5 and even after activating the skip it persisted for the next combat. Great job!
Hey thanks for the feedback! I also ran into that bug but have no idea what caused it, will have to dig into it further in the future.
love the medieval vibe
One of my favorite games on this jam! It's very well done, the graphics are super, it's a pity that the levels are so small. I found a way to keep spinning, and the game is easier than ever. This should be fixed. Let's say no more than one roll per attack.
I liked the mechanic of organizing wheel giving opportunities to create synergies and strategies! It is very fun roguelike
deckwheel building game! Especially the artstyle and cut-paper-edges!Respin is _sooo_ strong.
I really enjoyed this. My first run I breezed through on high respin chance and then massively buffing my attack, so a large number of fights were over after my first spin. The fact that I went through zone one and then died to the first floor boss tells me that I was mostly just lucky on the first tun and that the game isn't just too easy.
Nice work all around.
Wow. I think this is my favorite game of the game jam. I played through the entire game and barely killed king Beaver with 15 health left- 537 coins total. I am beyond impressed with how much detail was put into practically every action- the spinning wheel rolling into every battle was so cool to see. The art style was also super charming. I would love to see this go further with more levels. Incredible job to everybody who worked on this game!
Hey glad you enjoyed it. I noticed we had similar ideas in terms of naming here XD so I'll go check out your game in a bit.
Now this is one of my favorite games on the jam! You’ve come up with some truly fantastic and, most importantly, you did very well-balanced gameplay, all while keeping the wheel spinning randomly. That’s really impressive. I beat the game on my third try and would play more if there were more content.
I also want to praise the UI, it’s just fantastic in the game. Everything clicks very smoothly, everything is very user-friendly, and the wheel customization mechanics are also implemented perfectly (though maybe you could make the reroll button a bit bigger, I didn’t find it right away). I had nothing but fun playing this game! Great job!
This was really in depth for how little time you had to do it, I was really shocked! I really enjoyed just everything about this, the art style is unique and fun, the dialogue
sillyso serious, and the mechanics felt so nice. I think I just have bad luck because I ran out of health very easily and was not getting very many potions even though I would spend a lot on block, maybe I should have went the glass canon route lol You did a great job and it was a lot of fun to play! This is some insane work for a 7 day jam! It felt like I was playing a full release (minus game length) game. This is my favourite that I have played so far!
Wow that was very polished ! The art and animations were amazing, especially all of the UI. This is very impressive and I had a lot of fun ! I managed to beat it in my second run, I think buying a bunch of passives and almost nothing else makes the game a lot easier (or I was very lucky). I would 100% play a full game of this, 10/10. The animals were extremely adorable and they don't die when we beat them so bonus points for that 11/10
This was really well put together. Amazing art style and vibe. Creative twist on a wheel spin mechanic. Kinda similar to my game in the case of cards and a wheel spin, but your wheel is really important and customizable which is really cool. The UI was so fluid and satisfying
I really enjoyed this one! Good job on the roguelike mechanics as well! This was a really well done game!
Really enjoyed this one. I couldn't figure out how to deselect a slot once I clicked in, but it wasn't really an issue since I could pay to remove it. The design was great and I would totally play a full game with bosses and all.
Great on all levels
What a bonkers game. That was seriously fun. This was one of the first times in this jam where I actually sat there thinking carefully about what I was going to do. Every decision genuinely felt important.
Really impressive what you managed to create in just one week.
This game is so good. The combat and build crafting is very satisfying. I simply wish you could do more in combat everything but items are random within combat and the items are not very useful especially late game.
Great game feel all around! Very fun UI (I really love the seal that slams down when you enter a dungeon), the wheel feels perfect, and combat feels very snappy. My only criticism is that early fights drag on too long because you can roll multple turns where you just block over and over.
This is very very good, although I feel bad being killed by beaver! My only wish was not to restart all over again if I died at 2nd or 3rd stage.
Audio is extremely good, like every single UI movement have SFX and it makes it look super polished. I think so far you are the only one that makes spinner gives 3 attack. That makes the player divides the spinner into 3 section.
Not only that, the heal & block mechanic is pretty interesting twist!
It was very polished and felt like you thought it through. The only thing I'm not a fan of at all is having 3 pins determine your rewards. It's like 3 things demand your attention at the same time.
Really well done! Love the art and the game juice felt great
