absolutely wild visuals, super cool to look at. unfortunately my browser kept lagging pretty badly, I guess it couldn't handle the sheer power of beyblades, but still quite a fun game. great work!

Seriously amazing on all fronts! Third person Beyblade is genius!

Submitted

It took a few tries to get used to the controls but it was pretty fun!
The "over the shoulder" perspective makes a lot of sense for legally distinct beyblades.

Thank you for bringing back my nostalgic memories. I used to play Beyblade on the PS1, and it just felt like that. It’s a shame I can’t knock them off, no matter how much I try, but it’s fun having a scrap with them, trying to avoid falling off.

Really good game AstraSkies! 👍

This game rocks! The visuals, sound and gameplay are all great, I specially like the mine effect. The game is unbalanced as fuck sometimes (I got a round with like 8 enemies or so) but it makes it kinda fun.

When you enter the game the mouse doesn't get locked by default on browser. You have to full screen your browser for it to work properly. I don't know how Godot handles these things since I'm a Unity dev but it should be a couple of lines of code and some setting changes. The game ran perfectly on browser so congrats on that!

Oh yeah! One more thing. I would have loved a first level against just one enemy and no random modifiers to get a feel for the game and controls.

Other than that awesome game! And bonus points for being a beyblade game (us beyblade devs have to stick together)

The game was quite challenge but still fun to play! The graphics (especially in the synthwave stage) are quite good & the controls were quite responsive. The enemies are quite tough though but I might have not just figured out the right strategy to win. Good job!

I can't figure out how to win in this, I just fall off the stage every time, and wasn't able to knock an enemy off the stage at all. Especially when the big one shows up, that one is a lot.

The issue where enemies in the arena can’t be knocked off ended up being a last-minute bug that I didn’t have time to fix. To still win, you can use Dash to avoid being knocked off the map and collide with the enemies until they lose all their health (as shown by the bottom health bar that appears during the match).

got a  debilitating skill issue that i can't push the enemies off the map. love the style, the music, the models, the controls and of course the modifiers, love the three maps

gud game 👍

haha in all seriousness, really enjoyed the overall gameplay, the audio and the vfx (although they were a bit laggy at first). one minor gameplay gripe i had was that the enemies didn't fall off the arena no matter how hard i tried. i think that's a bit unfair :(

also the player beyblade sometimes got launched into the air. prolly a physics quirk... overall, really enjoyable!!

very addicting, the visuals are surprisingly great for 1 week! the first few rounds the game ran pretty poorly (effect compilation i think?) but after playing a few rough rounds and seeing most of the effects, the performance smoothed out. very challenging and addicting, love how fast it is to restart and get into another match.

Really addictive gameplay! Fun spin on Beyblade with randomised stage enemies!

this is a pretty cool game to say the least, i liked the random modifiers that you get that spices the game up alot! tbf i didn't understand when do i release the dash button to do a super dash, and also sometimes the arena feels too small, especially if there are alot of enemies, also the timer is kinda unfair with the enemies having alot of hp and the timer being too short so i kept losing :') other than that good job i had fun with the game and all stages had alot of variety too :)

I have to say, the visuals, collision effects, and sound design are great! My only issue was the camera movement—it sometimes made it a bit difficult to keep track of the enemies. Other than that, it's a great game. Well done!

Awesome visuals !

I think this is the first game I've given 5 stars on appearance to. The way the environment looks combined with the smooth camera controls makes it really stand out. Especially considering it runs fairly well on the web.

classic concept for spinning but executed very well with smooth controls and very nice visuals. I enjoyed it a lot.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I'm really glad you enjoyed the controls and visuals :)
