Pretty fun little game, I quite enjoyed it! Loved the spin (haha get it "spin" like spin to win) you did on the theme, the level design, and the boss fight. I do wish the boss fight had some music, and the rest of the art style matched that of the bosses face, because that'd be pretty cool, but for a jam submission, this was super well done. Nice stuff!

You probably should have added a limit to how fast you could fire... I made it out of the map in the first 5 minutes...
Pretty fun regardless I just wish the camera was a little more zoomed out

really fun, even though i couldnt get past the second level (not the tutorial)

"Like Getting Over It With Guns" if I were to title a review article about this game.
The physics game play you crafted here is really creative and fun to experiment with as a player.
Also, props for even attempting to add a boss fight. I could see the vision and I liked it :)
Nice work!

fun mechanics! great tutorial as well!

This game was awesome! I loved the core mechanic, and the movement felt really fun. Although the mechanics did not feel perfect, they were still very novel and I had great fun with them. This game is awesome!

This was really good! I thought I was going to choke on the final boss but then I found a God-tier spot in one of the corners and started hammering away. I like being able to rotate and shoot to traverse as a sentient handgun, definitely creative on your end.

glad that ya liked it, the god-tier spots would be gone after i make it proper boss fight

Didn't see the theme in it much... But I love the game otherwise! Difficult, yes, but difficult games are fun! (And easier to make... ahem!)

Very good idea, maybe not for this jam, because there wasn't too much spinning, but as a game it was very creative. The execution was great, i found the movement good too. This could be a really great game, once finished :)

I see the vision, and shooting as a platforming mechanic is a fun one. I think the controls need a bit more fine-tuning, but hey that's basically all games in a jam

Submitted

the controls are fun at first but it's really tricky

Not bad. The movement's ok, the levels are easy to complete but the visuals are not quite there.

Developer(+1)

yeah, programmer art basically. was focused more on the systems than the visuals. thanks for the feedback my guy

Such a fun and whimsical concept! The core idea behind this project is genuinely creative and put a smile on my face while playing. It has that classic, entertaining jam charm that makes it super enjoyable to experience.

There is definitely a lot of cool potential here to expand upon. Thank you for making and sharing this, it was a really fun time! Massive good luck with the jam! 🚀
