Fun little game, I'm used to Hotline Miami so I didn't have the camera issues some other people are talking about. My only gripe is sometimes I would 360 multiple times and I think that made it so my gun wouldn't shoot. Otherwise it was a very solid experience.
WHY MY LEGS ARE PINK?!! I don't know how you've created a CPU during a jam. I like the concept but the spin should have a window and not be exactly 360.
Great concept for a game. I however didn't like that the camera was following the mouse, which made it difficult to hit enemies.
once i got the rhythm down with spinning it really felt nice 360 no scoping all those enemies, pretty cool!
I liked the core idea, but it could be expanded on further. For instance, each time you charge a spin, you load a bullet, so I can load a couple of bullets at a time and kill an enemy uninterrupted. Or, similar to the enemies that shoot a spread of projectiles, your projectile spread increases the more you charge up at once. I wonder if you could add a mechanic where clockwise rotation is a pistol shot but counter clockwise is shotgun.
The core idea is so simple yet effective that you can explore it a lot. Kudos for the effort you've put into this game!
Im reallly glad you remembered to add a volume bar , when you first load in the music is so loud. I really like the spinning mechanic and how more spins make a better attack but for some reason after performing 4 attacks you dont get a shot.
Edit: Please add a fullscreen button its kinda annoying when your mouse goes off screen.
I quite like the core idea of to shoot you first need to do a 360 spin and each extra spin gives you a damage boost its cute.
GAMEPLAY:
Sadly the 360 shots felt a little unsatisfying, partly because there is little feedback and because often you didn't do enough spins to kill them in one.
There are 3 different foe types although you approach them almost the same and mainly differ in health.
The level pacing felt a little slow when It feels like it could work better if it felt a bit more frantic, and fast. The levels should probably end when all foes are dead to keep the pace going and reduce time spent slowly going to the end of the level.
The game sometimes takes a few extra seconds to register that your dead and restart the level.
AUDIO: The title music was too sharp and hurt my ears. The main song was fine, although a little repetitive.
I liked the game's main mechanic where you have to do a 360 before you fire. The issue i had was that it was inconsistent, i would multiple 360 and it still wouldn't shoot.
Thanks for the feedback! I've just fixed this issue, so the 360 detection should feel much more consistent now. Hope you enjoy the game!
