Enjoyment: It was nice, but I didn’t understand when the ending was coming. Since there’s a lot of information on the screen but there are few labels, or they’re not descriptive/clear enough, I struggled to understand what each of them meant, and which one was the final goal (because “target” sure wasn’t it, since it kept increasing).
Creativity: There are other games about gambling. One thing I like about this one is it’s completely nuts in terms of visuals and music and the little dog boss. However creative artwork shouldn’t come at the expense of health and safety, which is also one of the reasons why I am giving the “visuals” only 3 stars.
Visuals: They’re cute and crazy and and that’s fun. What I think is I would like to see settings to let people play with safer visuals. So…
- A background that has that pattern, but it doesn’t move.
- A calmer background without this kind of pattern. If you were to use the pattern;
- Other colors for the spinning wheel (red and green are very flashy as they spin, so it’s going to be flashy and dangerous)
- Also I wouldn’t make the game page background this pattern, I would make the pattern less contrasting and also not moving.
In terms of other accessibility things with the visuals:
- the “X” (for times) should be lower case to help it be more distinguishable as a multiplier;
- Some text is low contrast, like the white text on orange+black pattern.
- The font can be a little hard to read when it has the $ dollar sign, because it looks like the number 5 :thinking-emoji:
Seriousness: The upgrade confusion I had (not understanding what the reroll meant, not understanding what the final goal is, how investors work, there these things ended up adding up a little bit to lower the rating to 3 starts, but yeah I think overall it’s a fun game.
