Overall well made game. Only problem is that I got lost twice while navigating the floor. Some sort of mini map would be nice ;-;
oof, ya definitely a big regret of mine wasn’t having enough time to include a minimap, even a basic one QwQ
definitely gonna be one of the first things i work to include if I ever decide to expand on the game methinks
This is an endless and a decent one: compulsion to spin makes it skill-based and only movement really matters here (and holding shift). At some point though you get so any upgrades that you're unbeatable. The combat is still satisfying. Even reached floor 13 but at that point I felt like all th floors above would be the same so I stopped. Really enjoyable while it lasted, very cute and polished visuals, audio was fine but could've chosen a longer loop / more variety in the music. Overall a solid submission.
Fun game lots of polish. Really enjoyed the screen shake and particle effects. Also the upgrades were really fun. One thing I noticed with the upgrade that gives you a second reticle. Is I thought my second stream of bullets were fire 90 degrees from my first not directly behind me since that's what the visual would imply. I also wished the difficulty ramped up sooner or more gameplay elements were introduced sooner. The first few levels blend together and I'm pretty sure a few room layouts get repeated
Great game! Perfect execution of the theme, amazing art and nice audio!
Something I realized, is that if you get the weapon upgrade, something like 260% bullet increase (sorry, I don't remember the name), the indicator of the player and the actual shots don't align.
Also I know this is a game jam, and there was most likely no time for this, but just to mention it: a minimap would be amazing here :)
I had a lot of fun playing your game! Just to mention, I love the generous hitboxes and the camera shake. It makes the game feel so much more alive!
Keep it up!
I spun fast. Held shift all the way through and got one shotted by a vending machine 10/10
That was very enjoyable and a fun spin on rogue-lite shooters. It looks really good visually, gameplay is solid and the game fits the theme perfectly. Title music is really good but will admit the main level music did get repetitive after a while. Otherwise, Solid Work!
Very juicy! This game has so much polish and is fun and simple to play. It was simple enough to pick up and play, and allowed you do uncover its depth in a way that isn't overwhelming. Great Job!
Some good choices on the gun mechanics to make it more deliberate than a lot of games with shooting. Would have liked a bigger sprite for the character, she has an interesting design
Art style is nice, spinning gun is definitely a challenge to aim at monsters, but gets easier as you pick up extra weapons. I wish there was a map to see where I missed on the level, but otherwise, great game!
I really enjoyed the constant spinning player and gun, it brought depth to the movement forcing you to balance your distance and constantly revolving weaponry with the enemies. The art style is fantastic as well, and music vibes too. I would however suggest adding more upgrades such as faster rotation and an additional gun to add more player control to the gameplay.
bal-ler of a game. I really like the visuals, especially the main character, very nice. Gameplay is fun timing spins, and the concealed carry tutu is the best item ever. Also, I really enjoyed the flavor text of all the different items, they're very fun. Also also, doom refference, +points.
Great game! Keep it up!❤︎
Solid foundation for a dungeon crawler here! I liked how the constant spinning and not having complete control of your aim puts emphasis on your positioning instead. The upgrades felt nice and powerful (especially love the twirl that fires bullets around in a circle).
If I may give some criticism, the difficulty ramp is pretty slow in the beginning, with the first few floors feeling the same with no increase in challenge. It isn't until the roomba enemies are brought in that things start getting a bit more difficult, and by then you may lose some players before things get really interesting.
Overall enjoyed playing it, very well put together!
Loved the visuals and sounds of this game. Was fun to play.
