That glockenspiel intro was incredible - very serious.
Really cool idea! It may have benefited you to focus on fewer tools / mechanics in the terraforming process. It was a lot to take in, and I'm still not sure what the purpose of some tools are (like the wind trap).
Probably the most serious game I've played.
I LOVE the aesthetic here, and the gameplay loop is very unique. Took me a second to figure out what I was supposed to be doing but once I had it was fun to gradually teleport my various planets into lush green paradises. Ngl, the tutorialanus joke got me. Also crazy that you kind of have achievements in this game???
The game did lag out pretty hard near the beginning (I'm guessin when it was loading each element in for the first time), and I did experience some collision issues with the second planet (the green oblong one), but nothing gamebreaking.
Very impressive entry for a week long jam, well done devs!
Thank you so much! Great compliment that you think we were multiple devs, it was actually just me and my laptop. My goal was to make at least one person laugh with my dumb jokes, so mission accomplished! (did you also use the sucker on the Tutorianus butthole for the easter egg achievement?).
And sorry about the lag, I didn't have time to optimize the game, and doing the web export introduced a lot of loading issues, especially with the sounds.
Wow... Just me and my laptop hurts. 💀WHAT ABOUT MEEEE?! What about me and you togethe😔Goodbye AEPSchmitt, thanks for not remembering me. 🥹 Thanks for the journey you won't remember. I helped with the game (I gave some feedback) So goodbye. Hope to see you after the vacation🫡
Haha, sorry Severin! I didn't count brainstorming and playtesting in my comment. It was extremely valuable help.
Enjoy your summer break!
I cried in bed for two nights straight and took a lot of warm baths, but I'm back again.
5, 5, 5, 3, 3, pretty well, you're hot bruh, th'at a Damn concept, you're good, congratulations , can u test my game ?
Such a cool concept and fun execution! I did struggle to run it on browser mode though
The game lagt so bad, but I liked the Idea to spin the planet. A good way for the Theme
Runs great on my old crappy thinkpad. But I also didn't have the time to do proper object pooling or other optimization
really fun and I love how you made it star wars themed
Very humorous and interesting visuals but I seem to get lost with the objective of the game. I did made a pretty bizzare planet with bunch of rolly seeds so that's a plus. Wish I know what and how to complete the game tho...
The objective is just to have fun growing a cute little planet :)
I added a speedrun element to encourage some replayability, but didn't have time to refine the tutorial
This is such a fun game😀 I don't normally play this type of game, but I'm really enjoying it. And I love the fun jokes, the intro music, and all the juice. This game was made by my teacher so Thanks for teaching me😁 I hope you win.
Wow, this is a big game! There’s a lot of polish and juice everywhere; its a very impressive entry. I love how much personality the game has! It kind of throws a lot at you very quickly, I kind of wish it would introduce new concepts gradually across planets somehow (no clue how!), rather than everything you are taught in the first planet.
Great work, I can tell a lot of effort was put into this submission. (Cool solar/battery setup, btw!)
I enjoyed the concept and the first planet but I experienced too many bugs with the seeds on the second so I wasn't able to finish it. The physics was a bit hard to work with
Super innovative idea on the theme. This is the first one in the jam I have seen that lets you spin in 3 dimensions rather than just 1 or 2. It is a lot to get into at the start just due to the sheer amount of things you can do in the game, but once you understand the core loop, it is super fun to just mess around with the different actions. Amazing work :)
Very fun concept! The mechanics were original and fit the theme perfectly. I enjoyed playing it!
I quite liked this one. The mechanics are innovative and fun. It has spinning planets (just like my game, automatically +1 for creativity). I spent about half an hour on this game (I needed a second try because I didn't really grasp it on the first try), and in my second run I cleared Erf and got decently far on the rubik's cube planet. I think there were minor bugs but I'm not sure because maybe they were intended. I am also impressed with the fact that the game was made on solar power. Good work!
P.S.: I found your game through your student's game's comment page, so give him some extra credit ;)
On Erf the seeds glitched all over the place, yet I still terraformed.
On Rubik the seeds floated above the planet, but when they sprouted they took root on the planet itself.
Thank you so much for playing! The time you spent playing it is the greatest compliment.
I did some stupid last-minute changes to the planet-loading to reduce lag, but now it sometime breaks the collisions. I will fix after the jam voting is over :)
I'm usually not a fan of this type of game at all, yet I still found it fun, and I'm surprised by the number of mechanics it has. It's a good game, even though I found it a bit hard (honestly, that's just a skill issue).
Extremely serious game I love it.
