I think it’s a good game. I don’t see how it directly ties much into the theme of the jam. I think I would like to see Juniper playing this one, though, because it is cute.

I do think the controls could be more comfortable and accessible. Having controller compatibility, letting me choose between toggling or holding Shift, and some other way to flash the flashlight or spin it that doesn’t requite button mashing.

I didn’t end up understanding what monkeys killed me when I got killed. The first time I was hearing low pitch noises, so it might have been the Hear No Evil one. The second time I avoided the blind one (See no Evil), but then I went somewhere else and started hearing high pitch and low pitch noises. So when I was killed, I don’t know if it was one of these two or ever the stalker one.

It’s creepy, it’s an interesting concept about the Three Wise Monkeys. It’s very cool to see also the carriages/jails (?) from the monkeys. I don’t why there were more than 3, though.

I also don’t know how we could make this blind-accessible, but I am tingling to think about it. I wonder if this could be tied to the flashlight, maybe attaching a compass to the mechanic. And the compass would let you point somewhere, and/or when you use the flashlight you get a description of what’s in front of you (very brief, very quick) and some kind of map mechanic.

I feel that maybe the jack-in-the box could also make a little ticking noise or foggy noise, so you could help us navigate by following its sound as well.

Other than that, there’s the map at the start of the game that doesn’t really tell me where I’m at. And I think to make the map more useful, maybe it should? And yeah, I don’t know what those areas are but I feel that they’re areas that I should get to.
