I let it sit through the credits until the end lol. Phenomenal game

Developer

This is very silly serious and fun, and I really liked the graphics/animations there were. i think it was a very ambitious project to do in a week long stint, but you did very good for what you got in!
The sound was lil all over the place I'd either have it turned down where I could only hear the attacks/dialogue with no music, or if I had it turned up to where I could hear the music then the sfx would blast my eardrums. I'd highly recommend equalizing it a bit more, if you intend to polish it up after the jam.
Someone else already noted that there's no on screen tip for strategy, but I think another thing that could help is having a sort of health pickup that could help mitigate some of the damage as well. All in all it's a very fun experience and I think you did great, hope you had a fun game jam! <3

Any game with T posing is one of my faves. Really silly and the game length is perfect for what it is, no notes, great job!

You spin and then you take damage and then you lose, pretty serious stuff. I DID think the cutscene was kind of phenomenal though, very bizarre opening

Developer

nuu you dont understand this is peak game design!

in all seriousness I originally had it where the player was invincible and insta killed all the enemies. I kinda shoe horned in combat mechanics after the fact because I thought the gameplay was lacking, but in hindsight that was probably a mistake because it isn't well executed at all :P I should've just leaned more into the power fantasy of the earlier version, don't fix what ain't broke and all that

welp thank you for enduring my sin game and sorry it wasn't up to snuff, I'm glad the cut scene landed well tho

Whoa cutscene AND voice acting!? I loved the color choices too!!

Developer

ikr limited color palettes are a godsend. I'm not even good at color theory but it's hard to go wrong when you use a good palette

Very fun; it's like old school machinimas. I genuinely laughed when it randomly cut off the villain's monologue. Not sure why the defeating the enemies triggers game over, but I did get to the ending eventually.

Developer

oops that's my bad! The label on the top left is actually meant to be your health but like that wasn't clear at all
the strat for killing the enemies is to attack from behind so you don't take dmg but again that also wasn't clear, I probably shoulda put a tip in the game or something :P

anywho thank you for playing my game im glad you thought it was fun :)
