Very cool game! I think it could’ve benefitted from a better tutorial, and maybe some prevention to prevent one players’ plants from taking over the world (cough cough, Niko, cough cough), but I loved the idea and would absolutely play a further polished version!
Thanks for the feedback! Had no time for the tutorial unfortunately. I am absolutely going to make a polished version, most likely full rewrite in Bevy (yes yes, in Bevy). I will create a topic in #game-projects once done planning
Steep learning curve for me at least, but its very cool and original!
omg this is so cool, spent quite a while making plants

Unique and interesting simulation, great foundation for a potentially incredible game. Kudos for getting asynchronous multiplayer working! 5/5 for ingenuity.

Cute game, took a few times of me opening it to figure out what I was supposed to be doing, would have been helpful if I read the instructions on the page first before immediately clicking "start game". I figured out how to pollinate the flowers and get them to spread, the instructions mention something about getting lots of light and water with deep roots, but it wasn't clear to me if there was something I was supposed to be doing to make that happen more. Great job on the game!
This idea is so cool and creative, congrats devs!!!!
Thank you!
This is a really, really cool submission, unfortunately I think I'm too dumb to actually do anything with this. I was never really able to get anything to grow, and I think I broke my game because I got my stored genome points in the negatives. I don't really get why sometimes the wild flowers have seeds I can consume and sometimes they have seeds that I cannot.
Thanks fot the reply! I was writting tutorial litterally at the last 10 minutes before 24h overtime window ends, so I forgot to mention some things. The yellow seeds are unfinnished seeds, overtime they collect energy and then "self-pollinate", becoming those purple ones. At this state, they can fall to the ground and become a new plant. You can only pollinate yellow seeds, instantly turning them into purple seed.
