It has a really high level of polish, but unfortunately, there are no subtitles. My English listening isn't great, so I didn't catch the rules and got stuck on the second level. I really want to experience the whole game!

Thank you so much for checking it out! Subtitles were something I wanted to add before the Jam ended, but I didn’t have time unfortunately! I’ll look to add them eventually when we’re allowed to make changes again!

Very nostalgic fun for me! I appreciate the on purpose crash for my failure, especially since that's the most unique reason for a crash this whole jam lol. Lots of enjoyment out of the style. I grew up during the heyday of MYST and Journeyman Project and it was fun to see the style make its charming return in a well executed manner. Thanks for making this and sharing it!

Also game ran smooth like  butter with no hiccups here for me.

Specs: Ryzen7 5800x3d, 32gb ddr3 @3600mhz, RTX 3070 8gb

I'm curious if the player with load issues was playing from a HDD...

That’s awesome to hear! I’m glad you vibed with it as much as you did. Also great to hear that it ran well for you - all the feedback I can get is a big help when it comes to performance!

Loved it, the FMV "banter" as I'll call it was my favorite part, if you put characterization like this of yourself into other projects they're bound to get a good laugh. (I personally picked the letter E).

That’s great to hear! Trust me there’s more to come from this style - you can see what I’m going for on my YouTube channel (and is part of the lore).

Perfect choice of tag - the doggo will be overjoyed!

Game was really funny. I enjoyed how 4-wall breaking it was. My only problem with the game is its performance. I don't think it needs to be 648 MB. Sometimes it was pretty laggy.
My specs:

  • Ryzen 7 8700 F
  • 64 GB ram
  • RTX 5060 ti (16 GB vram)

Thanks so much for the feedback! I agree with the size - I wanted to reduce it before submission, but didn’t get a chance to. I’ll look into it in the meantime!

Was it laggy the entire time or during the meta scenes? That might help me identify it!

Just when loading scenes. Not a big deal but something to take care in the future
