A very interesting idea that needs polish to really shine. As an avid chess player I'd like to see this concept go further!
As a person who likes chess I found this concept really cool, with some more adjustments and polish, it would be a great standalone game. Great job!

I love the idea, but unfortunately I couldn't finish a match 😭 But I think it would be promising as a full-fledged game, I would love to play it again once it has been fixed! Kudos for making it in just one day, that is an incredible achievement!
Cool promising idea, The game requires more work for it to b playable. You should take a look at the scaling options in the godot project settings again because it's not scaling properly. It's unplayable in lower resolution monitors.
Love the idea and unique 'spin' on the game! Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish a match as at some point, I no longer was able to make moves. Great effort for a single day!
