The art was very cool, and the upgrade tree was a nice touch along with the sleep system to pass the days. Day 1 was easy, then I bought an upgrade for Delivery missions and another for E rank missions, and after that I spent several days with no gains as I either had none of the symbols needed and the wheel was only red and black, or I had only 1 symbol so the green area was very small.
Had to restart and avoid buying new options until getting enough points to buy other upgrades.
Thanks for the feedback ! And yes we're missing instruction for guide the player...
Very nice game bro, loved the art
very cool game i like it. one thing is that the sleep system feels tagged on, but otherwise 8/10
really good game.
It was fun to play, and I was really surprised by how many systems you managed to include! The graphics and sounds are simple, but they absolutely nail the aesthetic.
I've played some odd-based roulette mechanics so far, and this one is a really good take on it. Even if it relies on RNG, it still gives you a level of agency that other games don't consider.
My biggest issue is clarity! it's a bit hard to understand what's going on at times. For example, buying more works makes the game harder, but it's not clear if they even give you more money (I'm assuming they do?). It's also not very clear what the final goal of gathering popularity is. Overall, these systems can get frustrating pretty fast if they aren't clearly explained!
That being said, I think the game has a lot of potential and my overall experience was positive. :D
Thank you for taking the time to play and give feedback ! And yes we're missing time to balancing and give some instruction we make a scoop too big. (yes the new type of quest give more money). I'm glad you enjoy playing !
Unique and cute! I like the idea of the randomized successes and buying ways to somewhat control the successes. It took me a while to realize that I had to match the slot machine to the adventurer's wants to maximize odds. When you add more work options it becomes harder to land on the right one, which means buying some upgrades actually makes the game harder. The window on the web play is hard to fit properly, because it's so big by default. The aesthetic is one of the best I've seen in this jam, and I think it could be a lot of fun with some balancing.
Thank you for playing and take the time to give feedback. I agree we're missing time for the balancing. Add new quest type make the game more hard, but you earn more money with a hard quest. And for the screen I forgot to enable the full-screen on itch.io.
i also played this one (hello from drill game!) and agree with a lot of nix's thoughts here.
only thing i would add is that this game is also SUPER close to being 100% mobile friendly. the only exception is the skill tree. there isn't a way to view what a skill does from mobile without buying it on click. i'm not holding this against your design or anything, but from what i can tell a little confirmation dialog box when selecting a skill would make your game completely compatible with Chrome for Android.
Very cute game! i had a tough time noticing the difference in some of the upgrades and the rng aspect of the wheels can be a little frustrating. Also had difficulty getting the screen to fit while playing in browser. Visuals are very good, but it was hard to know what i should be doing at first.
Thank you for taking the time to play ! And yes we're missing time to do some instruction and some balancing. For the screen I forgot to enable the full screen button.
