Such an interesting game! I’ve never seen this idea and theming before and the art is incredible it’s so surreal. I loved all the transitions like the newspaper one or the notes menu one they’re very cool! After getting over the learning curve this game is very fun!!!

Really interesting game! I liked the concept a lot, especially the idea of surviving as a plant inside a spinning clinostat,it’s very unique and creative. The mechanics feel thoughtful and strategic, and the different plant challenges keep it fresh.

I regret not trying this sooner. I’m in love with Flora’s portrait art. Very unique art overalll. Cool card game idea, definitely think expanding this is worth it with different plants to grow would be more fun

The visuals and audio are so good! The narrative at the start is also a good touch. However, I found the game to be very confusing. I'd recommend making the game simpler. Nice work though!

The visuals looks amazing! It was a bit difficult to understand at first but I managed to complete atleast one chapter sucessfully ^^ "

I had fun playing your game! Thank you and keep making them!

I made through the first chapter, but I felt it was too much for my mushy brain right now lol. I was intrigued by the visual novel style at first, but the card game as such, I think it's rather more complex than I think it should be.

The cards and everything looked really nice! I liked the audio too for each round, but there was a lot of text when I tried understanding the card, it might be better to have a more active tutorial for that. Nice job!

I have to start of praising the Visuals and general vibe of the game!! The art is amazing and the music choice really complements it!
That being said, I felt like the UI and instructions we're pretty hard to follow, and the large sections of text for each card's description also didn't feel very understandable (for a first-time player). I think some color coding and simplification of the UI would really help break the complex barrier-to-entry!

The art style is beautiful, and the cards/UI have a lot of charm. It feels like a very unique plant strategy game with a lot of care put into the presentation.

The information in the game is a lot to take in all at once, but I can tell there’s an interesting system underneath. A clearer tutorial would help a lot. Great work!

Could you tell me where I should click at this point? I’ve clicked everywhere but couldn’t get to the next page ( •̥́ ˍ •̀)

Wait, I realized it was Enter! Can’t believe I missed that 😅

The visuals are stunning, and the gameplay is quite unique!

When holding the right mouse button on a card to view its text, the cursor ends up blocking part of the text, which is a bit inconvenient. Maybe the cursor could become semi-transparent while the right mouse button is held?

I’m really glad that I can move on to the next chapter even when I fail a mission. The plants in each chapter are beautiful, and watching their spinning animations is very soothing and enjoyable :D

The art is obviously the strongest point, the beautiful Blue Prince and collage aesthetic make it an incredible piece of interactive artwork! The gameplay was a little tricky for my monkey brain to understand, but I'm sure that is an easy post-jam fix. I would love to see a full release!

The art style is stunning, easily one of the most beautiful games in the jam. The cards and UI have so much charm. It was a lot to take in at first but I could tell there's a really interesting strategy game underneath. Would love to see a tutorial added because i had to struggle a bit ^^ great work! If you have time we would love if you could check our game!

This game is absolutely gorgeous. The hand-drawn organic art style is easily the strongest part, and it fits the plant/growth theme really well. The UI, cards, music, and overall worldbuilding all have a ton of charm, and I can tell a lot of care went into the presentation.

My main feedback is that the game is pretty overwhelming at first. There are a lot of stats, card effects, zones, and text to take in right away, so an interactive tutorial or easier “baby mode” would help a lot. Drip-feeding the mechanics one at a time would make it much easier to understand. Still, this is a really unique and beautiful strategy game with a lot of potential. Great work!

I’ll start with the game’s strongest point, which is undoubtedly its art; it is easily among the top five most visually beautiful games of the jam. The gameplay is solid and fun, and the soundtrack serves its purpose well, complementing the game perfectly.

As for feedback, the game can feel visually overwhelming due to the sheer amount of information displayed. I feel that’s a major turn-off for anyone deeply invested in the genre.

I'm gonna echo some of the other comments about needing a baby mode; I do like strategic games, but there were so many different stats and attributes that it was hard for me to understand what any one thing is doing. If you continue working on this (or similar big-brain games) in the future, I'd recommend easing players into all the different systems. Drip-feed each new mechanic or concept they have to balance over time so they're not overwhelmed. Some UX advice I've taken to heart is "Show the player only what they need at any given moment." Hades II does this very well; it has a ton of currencies and inventory items used in different ways, but it'll only ever show you the ones needed for the system you're interacting with at that time.

That being said, your game has absolutely gorgeous art and world-building!! The organic, hand-sketched style is super fitting for a game about growing a plant, and it hit the exact tone you were going for.

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback, it's very helpful to me. I'll work on improving these points in future development!  ^W^
